What do you mean, when you were a Spirit ball in heaven? You're a Spirit being right now. You know this or not?

If I did choose I must have made a poor choice...I coulda been Brad Pitt or sumthin.. :lol

rather than a 6'3 250lb Viking

Exactly! You did not choose that you would be (let alone who you would be) but your choices and influences in this life helped shape you. God creates a soul/spirit in man at conception and then how you (the spirit man) live effects the outcome. Your body was not individually create by God (only Adam and Eve's) it was brought forth by your predessesors being fruitful and multiplying.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Isaiah 42:5 Thus says God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk in it.

Isaiah 57:16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

Zech.12:1 This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him.

Thus the notion of being created "spiritually dead" is erroneous theology not founded in the word. God does not create dead spirits nor little devils....be careful...such thinking is not a good idea IMO…

Paul says when we are Baptized into Christ we die with Him on the cross....I have heard of being born again (a new order of Life) but never being dead again...the first death is physical the second death is spiritual and it happens at the judgment.

I might see the flesh as the procreation of a bad apple...reproducing after it's kind.

:lol

Made to rot. Return to dust from whence it came. Interestingly noted as being from "outside" the Garden even. Little footnote.

Oh cut the guy some slack. He's trying to communicate. Not everyone sees everything identically.
Smaller, cutting people a little slack is why there are so many heretical cults, believing they all fall within the pail of orthodoxy or more that believe they are the only true believers.

There is a curse, most easily found where it is last repeated at the end of Rev. 22, from God about treating the Written or Preserved Word of God so lightly. My intent here is never to belittle any but rather to help them to arrive at the point, a point, I have arrived at because of the direction of the Holy Spirit.

I never seek to lead hand in hand, that is the Holy Spirit's place in this growth we all seek. But now, your irritable remark, that is uncalled for and it is how educational strings are brought to an early demise. Please, let us all act like the target we seek after.

Most of the time Bill it's meeting people where they are at regardless if we agree or not.

Check out Jeremiah Chapter one....God chooses, not man.
I always thought that applied to Jeremiah only because God said he formed him to be a prophet and sanctified him before birth. I did not see how to apply to mankind God does not form each to be a prophet or sanctify each before birth; does he?
That said I do believe we did not form or choose any thing before we were born.

Ecc 12:12
could be to many different bibles causing problems, should we keep the old or new bibles?
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
