When will the rapture happend ? ( your quess time) =?

Yes, "THOSE THAT REMAIN ALIVE"

they are caught up together.

Those that came out of the Ground with Jesus, had to have had their new bodies.

The issue I have is Paul does not give a timing event to what Dead in Christ is. The dead in Christ rise first.

The Dead in Christ raise first.......... Then.......... Then when?

What bodies did the dead have when they walked around with Jesus? Hard to believe they were just skeletons, or were given some temporary body.

My jury is still out on this one.

It is very likely that they were "spiritual bodies", as Paul describes is 1 Corinthians 15 -

It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. v. 44

The new resurrected body, like Jesus has, seems to be compatible with both heaven and earth.

Spiritual bodies. I have read that a bizillion times, but the way you put it, it jumps out at me. Spiritual bodies. So then God would not need the old corpse to make a spiritual body?

Like Spirit but physical to travel to earth, Heaven back, function in both realms?

Thank you Brother for sharing that. years in the Word, and so much more to learn.

So we might get the new "Spiritual" body on death. That would not effect a Post or Pre trib stance anyway. I think the thread was about rapture or something "AGAIN"

I have to study this out now, I had just taken folks word on stuff, and we just can't do that without checking things out.

Blessings JLB.

My guess time:
2Thess.2:
1, We beseech you brethen, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And by our gathering together unto Him.

3; THAT DAY ( not this day and this day)
Shall not come, except there come a falling away first. (Apostasy)
The son of perdition,
4; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
7; Then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and destroy with the brightness of his coming.
8; Even Him, whose coming is after the working of Satan...

Mark 13:
24; After the tribulation,
26; then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds,
27; gather His elect, uttermost part of earth and heaven.

1Thess 4:14

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

They are already there, absent from the body, present with the Lord.
He is coming here to reign.

Romans 8:23 (NASB95)

23And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

John 2:19–21 (NASB95)
19Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
21But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

1 Corinthians 15:51–53 (NASB95)
51Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Changed not replaced. Our bodies will be changed into the spirit-body (made into one as I take it whereas now we are spirit and body with a soul to buffer the two distinct realities).

I get the same impression from the scriptures about the new heaven and new earth since we will forever be with God etc. as the new heaven-earth.

I noticed the last post had "yesterday" written next to it. :eek Needless to say, I was quite worried :pray then I realised it was referring to when the last post was written. Now, where's that coffee? :coffee

Thank you for the scriptures, was not ignoring you, just caught this. Spiritual bodies. In my mind I always just assumed like our bodies now but more like the 6 million dollar many versions.

Every day that passes in one more closer to the Rapture.
