Which is greater?

Which is greater, the Fall of man or the Resurrection of Christ?

I'm prone to declare this a trick question because "B" cannot happen without "A" however I'll give and say that the "Resurrection of Christ" is greater than the "Fall of Man".

I'd like to know which scale you are using to define "greater" because I guess it really could go either way...

Sort of like asking which is more important, the birth or the resurrection.

Be blessed, Stay blessed, and be Bold!

No its not a trick question and no it could not go either way.

ok. let see the ressurection in that it negates the fall of man.but to those that are willing to recieve the atonement.

all others will be in the fallen state and punished for that.

According to scripture does light overcome darkness of does darkness over come light?

The Resurrection.

The fall of man creates death. Resurrection re-establishes it.

It is greater to be alive then dead. The dead are conscious of nothing.

If death were greater, then JC would have remained dead. JC is therefore greater then the fall.

Ecc 7:1 A good name [is] better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

Just to make one think.:chin

By 'greater', do you mean repercussions?

The Fall of Man started everything this mess. The Resurrection fixed it. But unfortunately the Resurrection does not save as many people as man not falling could have. Back then, everyone was perfect and sinless. If we could have stayed that way, there would be no need for the resurrection.

However, because there is the Resurrection, there is also choice. I would say that's better than mindlessly loving God because we knew nothing else, in spite of perfection. Is choice greater than happiness? Now there's a whole other can of worms.

Everyone was only adam and eve

I would say...

Greater definition is the biggest word ever to hit humanity, just because the ressurection happened, we are serving a living God that died for us so that we can be saved.

So which is greater...the keeping power of God to be holy always...or the sin nature that can't help but sin?
