[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
So some do & most do not have the Holy Spirit. But.. that of another 'e'vil spirit wanting total control over him. (see Gen. 4:7)
Man was created perfect (VERY GOOD) as Adam was at his creation until sin. From that time forward ALL OF MANKIND NEEDED TO BE BORN [[AGAIN]] from being carnal to back to being SPIRITUAL.
There are just two spirit to control all of mankind. We see in Eccl.3 that even animals have the [exact same breath as mankind].
[17] I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
[18] I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
[19] For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, [[they have all one breath;]] so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
[20] All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
[21] Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
IF mankind + womankind have the Holy Spirit in the first place! Again Acts 5:32 which is given [only to them that surrender the stubborn will back to God!]
And as one lady on another site says correctly perhaps? most do not do so because of their PRIDE!
But in Acts 9 we find the Eternal Condition that has to be made...
Acts 9
[1] And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
[2] And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
[3] And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
[4] And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
[5] And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the ...banned word deleted here...s.

OK: Now NOTE WHAT HE WAS REQUIRED TO DO & WHY WAS THAT SO?)
[6] And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
And most know no more what this is all about than did Nicodemus who was even a ruler of the Jews! Whatever?? Perhaps later???
And the thought?? Did Saul have a carnal 's'pirit in control of him before verse 6? And the question about what Christ REQUIRED came also in verse 6!
And did Saul follow the Lord's CONDITIONAL REQUIREMENT of not?
And what Holy Spirit was Saul 'KICKING AGAINST'???
And again, there are just TWO 'SPIRITS' either IN or out of mankind.. and even one posses livestock! Luke 8
[27] And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
[28] When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
[29] (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
[30] And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
[31] And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
[32] And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
[33] Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
And the Saving REQUIRED one is the Holy pirit who goes back to heaven at the saved ones death until their first resurection!
