Well.... if you can picture blonde/light brown hair instead of dark hair, and make the length of the hair much, much longer, then you can visualize me. Oh, yes, you also have to add laugh lines around blue eyes.

I can testify I never threw a perfectly good hat into the air .... the wind would have blown it down the block, and I would have looked perfectly silly chasing after it. Hence, the hat always stayed in place.

I think that for just one of her payday's during that show I would have eaten my hat.

If I remember correctly they identified the woman in the background of that clip from the show.

I just read the whole article. That is a really neat story. How cool it would be to have Mary Tyler Moore's book with both her signature and Hazel's in it.

I loved the 70's. If I remember correctly, if it were 40 years ago we'd be watching the Mary Tyler Moore Show tonight.

Her show was always enjoyable.... along with The Bob Newhart Show. Those shows were so entertaining, unlike many of the reality shows on these days.

It would be quite nice to have MTM's book with both hers and Hazel's signatures. Each week, Hazel came into our homes along with Mary .... and during those years, we had no real idea why Hazel seemed so concerned as she watched in the background. Now we do.
