Well, this raises an issue. What is great? Is it power? Personality? Is it what they stand for or obstacles they had to overcome?

For example, Wolverine is a great super hero, but he is not much of a team player and usually has his own personal goals.

All your super heroes are "girly men".

Yah! Dats rrright...

I am surprised that Batman has the lead and Superman doesn't even have a vote. Crazy

GundamZero, I thought Yoda failed by not killing the Sith?

Quath, you think too much. What ever you want it to be. I think it is alright to be a relativists on this one. :-D

I am just having a hard time to decide on this. I mean, this is an important decision and I don't want to mess it up and later go, "NOOOOOOOO! Why did I pick Wonder Woman? Was it for women's rights? Was it because she was hot?"

Do we judge this on a cage match idea? Wolverine versus Yoda. Could Yoda choke him or thrown him around with the force? Could Yoda hold him underwater so he suffocates to death? Superman is very powerful, but it seems that there are a billion thinks that render him powerless.

I am leaning toward Batman because I just saw "Dead End." If you have not seen it, watch it here.

...No Offense Berean, but I don't think you'd last five minutes with the Hulk...

I accept the challenge! :D

Bring on the green "girly"... ;-)

WHO IS FAVORITE SUPERHERO?

Definetly Batman. 20 years ago I would have voted for Superman but all the movies that gave Batman that edge has brought him to the front of the pack. Superman movies were good but portrayed him as a little soft and this day and time we like our hero's very tough, bold, and just as edgie as the supervillians.
The only problem I can see with Batman is he only helps people in "Gotham" where as, Superman is all over the world. So I think we need to expand his horizon.

i'm surprised by Batman popularity too. must be a bunch of people who are excited about the movie Batman Begins, in 2 weeks.

I voted Batman because he wins with his wits. He doesn't actually have any powers, just really neat gadgets. And, he seems to be burdened with his superhero status, yet compelled, by the death of his parents, to find the bad guys in spite of how much he dislikes his double life.

Hold up, we got to start the poll all over. I forgot to include the badest super hero there is.

If there's a place you need to go he's the one you need to know.

He's SUPER MAP

he he he

Superman is the gretest superhero because he did for superheros what the beetles did for rock and roll.
