Who is the most selfish Liberals or Conservatives?

Where is that among the liberal/conservative?
neither. its freedom for all that use it and don't harm others. while im not pro abortion rights and wont support legalization of drugs outside what is already legal and also gay marriage. I wont once gay marriage is in effect here in my state be one to say lets change that.

a marriage is a legal piece of paper, only does god have the say what is and isn't. while I do think that we ought to base marriage on his way but its for the church to influence others to see it that way. by not recognizing the other types of contracts does nothing for the souls that sin in that manner. I would prefer that we reach the lost then rather ban the sin of the lost.

:lol Not a popular topic.
Really good article, Kathi. Thanks for posting it.

"I suspect you began reading this article already convinced in your mind about who's the most selfish. True?"

I can honestly answer this question as false for me. The reason I can is because my views are libertarian. My views have become libertarian because I faced the facts that this article brings out. That we all want what WE want and what WE want is not always correct.
We are always saying that one's relationship with God is personal but we really don't believe that. Unless everyone's relationship with God looks just like ours we want to dictate to others what theirs should look like. :shrug
Preach the Gospel and let God circumcise hearts by His living word.

Heheh. To hear the people I grew up around talk, liberals were the devil. Then I got online as a teen, talked to a few. It was a bit of a culture shock. I eventually learned that people can be good people and yet have perspectives I greatly disliked.

You are talking political. Please review my post # 12.
well I could consider modern end times teachers the liberals, and my position consertive. and you would say the reverse. TOG is consertive in theology and yet is liberal in some of his view on politics.i have known liberal Christians to care more then some in so called consertive political and theological churches. that has to do with the amount given not the proportion of income.

Does it have to be political?People can be liberal in all areas of life including Christianity.

Politics in and of itself is nothing. Politics are merely an expression of how people want to live their lives.
So you are correct in saying that there can be liberals and conservatives in all areas of people's lives.

I grew up in a very conservative home but I ended up definately being liberal.I choose to look at how generous Ive seen people be and just try to feed into that and use them as inspiration sorta like checking myself.

I personally prefer whenever possible the government isn't involved in charity. it becomes too political and all about what promise is made to a group for a vote.
