In the United Kingdom we have a restaurant called The Handmade Burger Company. I think the key to a good burger is local produce and depth of the beef. If the meat is sourced locally, isn't flattened like McDonald's burgers and is seasoned correctly, this is the recipe for a true succulent burger.

Please refer to their main menu by clicking here.

Wow, did you know your link will download a 38 meg pdf file?

Aside from that, they look yummy!

They are delicious.
I thought it wouldn't direct to the .PDF file; I'll see if I can find the online version. Thank you for noticing this.

Edit: Previous menu link updated to web format and not .PDF download.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

You're in the minority about the burgers, so clearly you're wrong. :cool2

I only go there a few times a year, because I feel like I need my arteries flushed out when I'm done. The fries are the best for sure! Fresh cut, and they always pile more in the bag. Of course, we're all in agreement that we must soak fresh-cut fries with vinegar. That's a given.
So you DO get out !

If your ever in the Detroit area, ill take you out. Likewise, if I'm ever in your neck of the woods you'll have to take me!

That sounds like a great idea!
I am considering a holiday to America over the next year or so; I will certainly consider Michigan. If you're ever over here and you happen to be passing Chesterfield; I'll be more than happy to take you out. We are a central hub and have many attractions and activities within a 20 miles radius.

So nobody has a Carls Junior in town? I wish they had them here in Ohio, I'd go have one of their "Six Dollar Burgers" The best fast food burger I've ever had. Nice big bun, goood sized burger, good combination of toppings and prolly the only burger I've ever eaten out that actually does look like the picture!

I miss Colorado.

Supposedly Carls junior is part of the Hardee's chain...but these don't stock a six dolla' burger.

You can get an $11 burger at Mc Donalds now! I think we have a Carls Jr here...

The six dollar burger is (or was lol) only 4 bucks and the whole meal deal was $6. But a darn good burger!

I can't eat at Mickey D's. I have to be starving before I would go there. Mostly because they make the worst coffee in the world to my experience. Their food is prolly comparable to other fast food joints.

I agree with this statement; I am not fond of McDonald's coffee. Interestingly, not too long ago, McDonald's was advertising on Gem 106 radio station about the type of bean they use in making their coffee. I can only assume its because McDonald's aren't the public's number one choice in purchasing coffee; Starbucks or Costa Coffee are the more preferable choices.

Here in the us, mcdonalds is doing iced coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Drinks are actually pretty good....surly attitude from the workers when you order one...not so good. Tad cheaper than dunkin donuts, but I don't go very often, because of the attitudes, lol. That and they overcream the iced coffee. Blah.

I've never been to a Dunkin' Donuts, however I've just learned that one has opened in London; may have to try them the next time I'm in our capital.
