you dont have that saying in the Canadian army. it means either close to getting out or close to leaving country. If i didnt reup it would have been both. I left country one month and two days later.

What saying was that?
with exclamation SHOOOOORTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most people would take thier boots and paint them and toss them over the power lines on their last month. It is still done today, just not as much for some reason.

lol i never thought that was a saying i thought you were just short. :rolling

Painting boots and throwing them over powerlines? :confused I prefer to keep mine and use them as work boots :)

Yes I wore the olive drab color fatigues and I kept them starched like iron, and of course Cochran, jump boots, I even had a fatigue shirt with the creases sown into it. And yes the old steel pot yes I remember, I got out September the 29th 1980. As for pictures my mother has them, I only have my basic training graduation looking picture, you know in your Class A's.

the 4th line there is called shammers and the dirt bags. the second line is used but we have a different word for them.
lbgt arent allowed in. I dont call them that anyway.I try to stay away from that type of calling gays that stuff hurts the testimony for those that are that way.

edited to match johns adjustment.

Only tan boots are allowed now. No starching , just like the bdu's when they first came in, wash and wear.

I have been these
19d, 14s and now 31b30 will be 31e30 in march after training.
