We as christians know the reason, but some think that the bible alone has all the scientific knowledge we need. Ie in contains the anotomy of the various animals and man, the solutions to diseases. While god can heal, he has gifted men and women with the hands that heal via modern medical knowledge.

I'm in no way saying that the Lord is limited in his abilities, but there's grey areas. The bible doesn't speak on the making and construction of houses, aircraft, space travel, and the other areas. Does that mean man is evil in the query of these things?

I believe the bible is inerrant ,but let's use common sense. Does one pray to use the toilet or the most simplest things, unless those are hard for you. We have certain gifts that we can use,and give glory to the Lord. Its also ok to use prayer for wisdom to solve problems in the natural world. We should seek the Lord for the answers on a spouse, career, and other things.

So please tell me, what kind of "scientific" knowledge can help you on your deathbed?

that's my point you come across that way to those on this forum who love the lord and want to help others with the gifts they have. I have some of these things, should i not use them because thus saith hedii? I have no problem learning languages, if used this gift more i could reach many for the lord. What if i want to become a nurse and i do, Is that wrong? Maybe there's a terminally ill person who i can lead to the lord, or as a doctor i prescribe meds or come up with the treatment for a ravaging disease and when i recieve an award. i then give thanks to the Lord who gave me the skill and wisdom to do it.Is that evil in your sight?

answer me this what was luke occupation when he was mentioned in the gospel, did he stop that at all?

Why the Lord write the Word into stone?

  • THE CRAB AND ITS MOTHER
  • [list:2mzchlav][list:2mzchlav][list:2mzchlav]Attributed to Aesop
[/list:u:2mzchlav][/list:u:2mzchlav][/list:u:2mzchlav]
A Crab said to her son, “Why do you walk so one-sided, my child? It is
far more becoming to go straight forward.†The young Crab replied: “Quite
true, dear Mother; and if you will show me the straight way, I will
promise to walk in it.†The Mother tried in vain, and submitted without
remonstrance to the reproof of her child.

  • We shall live and dwell with one another according to the true admonition:
2Co 13:11 said:
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
