Stare at what? Women of course! CHRIST instructs men never to do it the wrong way. However the situation is something seemigly impossible - being a biological stimuli or responce.

So, it is nearly impossible not to look.

Other than the 'lustfulness' (side of it), why do men always stare at women...even involuntarily?

would you want men to not notice women? We notice them and look at them - and I'm not talking about looks of sexual innuendo - because we like them, we're attracted to them. A well-formed woman's body is a thing of beauty.

What are men staring at?Just a pretty face?Maybe the women should put some clothes on or wear her top so that half of the breasts are not showing.I have seen this at Church as well. Not appealing for anyone especially a Christian woman.
There was an article in our local paper the other day.A man was apprehended for taking pictures of a womans cleavage while on public transportation.Do you think that would have happened if she were dressed appropriately?

It all depends on how you are looking at them and what your thought are.If you look at a woman with lustful eyes it is the same as having an affair in God's eyes.

In moments of honesty, I admit it's nearly impossible for a man to NOT look at a woman without lustful eyes. It IS a challenge of Christian faith for men to control that passion.

Would you have preferred for Yahweh to make your suitable helper a chimpanzee ?

Sounds like an infallible reply..., though some seem to be emotionally "shutdown" towards lust

To be fair, women stare at men, too. Maybe they just don't get caught as often as men get caught staring, but I can tell you we have our lustful eyes issues, too.

That being (likely) true....so what do they stare at?

Well... at men. Face, different body parts, the way he moves, and so on. Guess the same stuff men stare at when they look at women.

While I will agree that it is a problem area for most, that in no way makes it an absolute. I don't have any problem not staring at women, or not looking at them with lustful eyes. i did when i was younger of course, but being married to a very jealous and insecure woman got me used to keeping my eyes to myself, then after she left and I began walking with the Lord it made it so much easier to obey this by being in practice of it so to speak. My natural drives have not seemed to diminish, it just depends on what you're used to I think.

Natural drives such as the libido were a necessary part of man's design by God to enable them to want to be fruitful and multiply, lol.

I do not look at different body parts of a man.I just don't.....but If I see a very attractive man with a nice square chin and nice profile I will look. But I can not say that I have lustful thoughts.I just think OH BOY God sure Blessed you.But that is only the outter looks. For all I know he could be a jerk.

I was married to a man who had a roving eye.Everything skinny and halfway decent looking would get his stare.
