Do I sound like her or something? I don't think I've heard of her.

Your comment about "hearing God when you speak to your heart"..............
So, if you read this book, or if you study some of her books, poetry, and her personal relationship with the Lord, i think you would find it very interesting.
During her lifetime as a Catholic, she was condemned because she spoke about her "inner faith world" and her "silent meditations" where she fellowshipped with the Lord >inwardly< and wrote about it.
Her life was quite unusual, and i was very inspired by her story.
I think you would like it also.
Check it out if you have time.

Very interesting. I am going through the same stuff, cause I grew up Catholic. Thank you for the info.

By the cover of the book it makes her look like a nun...... I know she wasn't. Short of her husband s position she probably would have been martyred by the Catholic church. Her relationship and intimacy with God is seen throughout her writings.
Thanks good post,
peter

True that. With strick code of only respectable clothing and a tithe to offer, and because he never changes, who would want a down and out broke bum like Jesus, who wears torn sandles and has no cash in the door. Plus you would have to give him a ride each week cause hes got no donkey to borrow.
Actually He sent Peter out to go fishing to pay the Temple Tax so they wouldn't offend...and most walked in anyway. :poke

But yes, He would be ostracised and tossed out of most services.

He probably sent Peter because he didnt want to touch a dirty denarious. In church he would probably ask someone to pay his tithe when he gets kicked out.
