Why Doctors are Idiots

Why Doctors are Idiots: 150 Years of Disatrous Advice on Children's Health (satire)
by Mike Adams

With mandatory vaccines suddenly being forced onto parents by doctors and so-called "health authorities" in places like Maryland, New Jersey and Texas, you might think that doctors being full of bunk is a new phenomenon. But no, it's nothing new. Doctors have been full of bunk for more than a hundred years! What follows is a short timeline of the nonsense, junk science, negligence and harmful advice peddled by medical doctors over the last 150 years or so: (see the end of this article for serious follow-up comments describing the intent behind this satire piece)

Have always had issues with trusting doctors myself. Sometimes I feel that a good number of them, like scientists, feel that they are God or something. I know this is not the case with all. So I cannot stereotype them. Just....sometimes I really do ask myself what they are thinking.

I very very seldom go to a doctor... I don't even have a doctor. The Lord blessed me with a lot of faith concerning walking in divine health. I won't say I have that kind of faith in every area of my life, but I do when it comes to sicknesses and health. God is my physician.. and he's the best!

Same here Destiny. Haven't been to a doctor in 30 years and that was to get all my teeth pulled. Had bad teeth all during my youth and I can honestly say ... good riddance. Anyway, the wife keeps telling me to go see a doctor or get one but I'm just not ready to throw my hat into that ring. It's like taking your car to a mechanic... he'll always find something, schedule a follow-up or inspection for some reason or other and find something else. It doesn't end.

My grandfather tells me his dad says some people worry too much.

I agree.

Doctors are good for mending bones and performing performing surgeries, obviously.
But if you have a chronic illness; forget it! Doctors instantly start pimpin' their pills.

I don't believe in general characterisations to begin with.

Sure there are a lot of doctors who have egos the size of Everest but there is also a lot of Godly doctors and doctors who care and do the best they know at the time and when science proves something (ie medication) that is better they will use that. God has allowed knowledge to them (though personally I think that may be coming to an end re 'playing god with embryos'), they do good work not only here but in 3rd world countries with basic vaccines which saves a lot of lives. Personally I find lawyers more of a problem than Doctors.

I thank God for doctors and for the work the medical profession do, medicine has come along leaps and bounds continually and has helped and healed a lot of people giving them time hopefully to hear the gospel and to turn to God.
Re vaccines though there is a risk does everyone really want to go back to a world without them - there were far more deaths then!

I could easily do generalisations there, I have to repent of my thoughts every time I think of them  But I am sure there are one or two godly lawyers (thats not an oxymoron is it? )

joking posters (mostly  )

You're calling doctors (very highly trained professionals idiotic). These are mistakes, yes, but that is how we learn as a society and become more modern. So I guess if you're calling doctors idiotic, then everyone else must be more idiotic huh???

If you notice, the history of doctors outlined in that article has two common themes: 1) blatant disregard for nutrition and 2) saying that something man made is better for you (as opposed to God-given in nature). It one understands this philosophy, then one basically has the medical establishment pegged and can discern good from bad advice.

Let's test that out.

Is salt really bad for you? The answer is NO! (theme #1)
Is cholesterol bad for you? No again! (theme #1 again--- our bodies produce it and without is one would be horribly nourished which can cause heart problems)
If you're cholesterol is "too high" what do they try to do? Pump you will more pills (theme #2)

A normal cholesterol is 200-300.
I'd worry if it gets below 200. May get more cancer and infection (which seems to be on the rise these days)

A normal blood pressure is 140/90 or less, and the WHO actually does not call anything above 160/95 much to worry about except to watch yourself better with diet and/or exercise.

It's only lately that anything above a healthy, normal 120/80 is considered pre-hypertensive.

Just to show how idiotic the whole thing is, one doctor said that the "perfect" blood pressure is 115/75 (that's their new target these days). Yet, 121/81 would be considered pre-hypertensive. Good Lord! That's only a difference of 6 mm of Hg. One reading to the next can differ that much! So, they don't even seem to have a commonsense statistical handle on math and numbers, either.

They just say this stuff and keep dummying-down the numbers so that virtually everyone fails and they can push more drugs. It's a worse scam than the most crooked politicians, and I blame much of the economic woes on the likes of the drug companies and the medical establishment!

Yes, as Destiny said, I don't really go to doctors.

–noun 1. an utterly foolish or senseless person.

I once went to a Doctor for back pain he told me there was nothing that could be done, gave me some narcotics and sent me home. I asked friends of mine what to do, and was given homeopathic treatments, prayer and a list of exercises. My point, the pills the doctor gave me did nothing but mask the pain and get me high so I could not work. The treatments from my friends eased the pain with NO side effects and the exercise made my back feel better and of course prayer always helps, I was able to return to work. So who is the foolish one in this story?

Hi,

Tell me the place for satire in the scriptures. It appears to me satire is a first cousin to synasism.

AMA might get it wrong from time to time for sure, but as far as I know Jesus actually said not to call a brother an idiot. Reap what you sow as it goes, that makes idiots out of us who would use such approaches in our attempt to understand the best efforts of God and man.

Keep it scriptual and the doors will keep opening, start blaiming your neighbor and it is an absolute pit fall.

keep it Christian. Gods spirit has us uplifting Jesus. Any interitation of current realities that is Truth, uplifts Jesus in us and in Heaven. ALL things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes. We all learn and benifit from all the progress, learning and mistakes that humanity goes through. We don't all grow wise through it all, that is a great and terrible shame.

It takes us all or nothing is sacred. We all profit in Gods perfect will. I pray that the light of God in the Holy Ghost brighten our paths. Jesus to be ever exaulted in word and deed. Let your conversations be in Heaven where Christ rules supreem. I have had my full of earthly ways, it kills just as Jesus said.

Lots of pro's and con's about everything. Just know what you are talking about before you call anyone anything with a scathing kind of love for them. Yes, Exsort, editfy and reproff the acts of darkness, yet by love, or your wrong even if you are right. In even a non christian way, scathing critisism is seldom an effective way to enlighten anyone about anything. You can go to utube and get all of that your heart desires. It simply is not the way of truth. The wisdom from above is..... James.

Good morning, what you say....

Raca... the word used by Jesus was raca, meaning "worthless" to us today.

Idiot is actually the word used in reference to someone who lacks in basic skills or lacking the ability to reason. It also had a numerical value in an I.Q. test.

moron=51-70

imbecile=26-50

and

idiot= 0-25

:-D

Good morning, what you say....

C'mon Whitecloud. Are you deceived, too?

The medical establishment is part of the world's system. And who is the God of this world? It's Lucifer.

And Satan and his people worship mammon. In the medical world, this is called "Big Pharma". People are following this advice in droves without questioning it. Certainly you must realize that the cholesterol and blood pressure numbers have been dummied down over the years. Why? To get everyone on drugs, that's why.

I just read in the Parade magazine today what people eat. One fellow said that his diet is not as good as it should be, but he takes Lipitor for desert. Well, he can if he wants but I guarantee he will probably die and go to hell just as quickly as if he had high cholesterol. Maybe the guy should take vitamins and eat better foods the way God wants one to and he'd be healthy no matter what his cholesterol numbers say. But that's his choice if he wants to be deceived and have an utter false sense of security.

It's hard to believe that there are rational people in the world today that still believe in this. It's akin to believing that the earth is flat.

I've tried it, it's worked I don't care what you think. You can go on ingesting chemicals made by man and hoping it helps and I'll go on taking things made by GOD and knowing it helps. Also I can't believe there are still people out there that think wikipedia is a reliable source. :screwloose:

It's hard to believe that there are rational people in the world today that still believe in this.

Homeopathy in a nut shell is supposed to be the idea that a small amount of the same (homo) "bad" will trigger a body reaction that will overcome the existing "pathology". There are cases where this does work as in the inoculation against viruses by using weakened viral cells. I suppose one could stretch that concept to include the habituation to some poisons like arsenic.

What makes the condemnation of the practice of homeopathy difficult is that much of what is called homeopathy does not technically follow the definition. Much is essentially herbal remedies that can have varying degrees of effectiveness.

As far as the word "idiot" goes, the etymology is interesting. In 1 Corinthians 14 people are told not to speak in tongues because it would confuse two groups of people, the unsaved, and the unlearned. The word used for unlearned is idiot. The word idiot (like idiosyncratic or idiom) has a root meaning of "private" or "self", In the Greek world those who chose not to participate in the political function of the "polis" were called idiots because they were more interested in their private affairs than those of the community. Eventually the word came to mean those who were unable to participate because of the mental abilities. At the time of the Bible the word was used to describe a soldier rather than an officer or a layman instead of a magistrate.

There are several reasons for poor medical treatment today. Some of the reasons transcend culture and circumstance and some are the result of the course our world is on.

1. The completion of a course of instruction often carries with it the assumption of complete knowledge.
2. The collectivization of society imparts a penalty for acting contrary to convention.
3. The collectivization of society reduces health care to "assembly line" automation.
4. Patent medicine provides economic incentives to capture or set the direction of collectivized health care.
5. The Hippocratic oath is meaningless for a doctor that is an employee.
6. The secularization of a nation leads to increased faith in insurance and government as a sort of substitute god.
7. Medicine as a business model is a "treatment" in search of an "illness".

While various individual doctors have various individual abilities, the homogenization of health care requires "experts" to define the limits doctors can act within and doctors willing to accept those limits. The net effect is the presentation to the public of a systematized, expensive, impersonal, and often ineffective monopoly of health care that can appear "idiotic".

Interpretation:

Probably some big-Pharma drug pushing establishment wants the first say (that's the tone I pick up on the discussion page when it downright is labeled as psuedoscince---- it does not agree with establishment ideas).

If Homeopathic worked for him, then let it be. What's the threat in somebody believing something else unless the powers that be want everyone to become as automatons like brainwashed people? I think money and control is the real issue here, not truth.

Want truth? Go with the minority. There's 3 kinds of people: The erroneous masses, the erroneous minorities which are probably nut-cases, and the minority that can see truth.
