it wasn't until 1954 that we had one nation under god and up to 1890 we never had a pledge. the pledge was created by a Christian socialist. he didn't mention under god.i also prefer that it remain but as a former jw. If I said God it meant to me Jehovah. to the Jew its written as G-D. the Heshem and the way they see him isn't a the same as ours. so what is the point if nowadays we have just those three differences. I didn't throw in the hindu, the muslim and also the mormom's idea of God or the uu version. The American Pledge of Allegiance says, "one Nation under God"...not one Nation under Government. So why does government leave God out?
The liberals dont like HimThe American Pledge of Allegiance says, "one Nation under God"...not one Nation under Government. So why does government leave God out?
there are plenty of atheist republicans that don't care for him either. we cant just think the right is on our side. its not. it tends to lean in our views but remember its all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$The liberals dont like Him
I was told by two high ranking supervisors who are in the federal government and are pastors, that they leave God at home when they come to work.
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 NKJVThe American Pledge of Allegiance says, "one Nation under God"...not one Nation under Government. So why does government leave God out?
A country is an earthly organisation. It's not a church. And like Jason pointed out there are people of many different religions or without religions in the USA. Diversity is one of your country's greatest strengths! So the pledge should leave it to the individual whether they want God in it or not.
then its shame on them. I am a Christian and I work for this entity. www.covb.org. I work for the utility side of that. yet I don't have to hide my faith. im not in your face either but im there to work no PREACH.I was told by two high ranking supervisors who are in the federal government and are pastors, that they leave God at home when they come to work.
let me ask if the Christians banned jews from the public square why would you care or don't care? we cant realistically expect a theocratic state to work.i don't want a theocracy. I prefer all worship god , but jesus never said all would.banners and emblems and recitals of jesus are of no use if the persons who hear them don't believe it. been there when we had school prayer.Diversity is not a strength when it surpassed just ability and became every man on for there own agenda. Jesus said a kingdom divided will fall and he just mentioned two. Those that would leave God out, by default live and are under the rule of the other kingdom.
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them
signed liberatarian. I don't agree with them fully but for its them or the constutionalist party. either orthere are plenty of atheist republicans that don't care for him either. we cant just think the right is on our side. its not. it tends to lean in our views but remember its all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$
"Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me. Matthew 12:30 NLTI was told by two high ranking supervisors who are in the federal government and are pastors, that they leave God at home when they come to work.
