Homsexuality is a sin...

Eating pig is a sin for Jews.

Not for the church.

God has the last word. :D

Writing to the Gentiles...

Acts 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment...:

...Acts 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Isn't that clear? ;-)

It always baffles me how Christians can go on and on condemning homosexuals for promiscuity....yet they adamantly deny them the one institution that exists to secure monogamy!

They say "your relationships don't have the right to be acknowledged as something "special"....then they criticize homosexuals for acting as though there is nothing "special" about sex? Does that make sense to anyone else?

Why is the institution of marriage the sole determiner of monogamy? If gay people need a piece of paper to be monogamous, then there's more wrong there than I think already.

BTW, I voted because God said so.

(i was only allowed to vote this february, so, I have only really had 1 oppurtunity to do that.

I actually don't like "man" because, A man, is good, however many men, are evil. Corruption, greed etc. Humans are the most terrible creatures on this earth, and it really sucks. There are of course good people, but the bad always outweigh the good. (btw, I am not too much of a believer in the whole, wander the derst for 40 years, because, scientifically, mathmatically, and realistically, it is impossible. If you believe in miracles, it works, but, I don't.

I think this is pretty sad, to think so at such a young age. I'm not disputing that there's a lot of wickedness out in the world. But there is some good - you just have to look a little harder for it.

I think most individuals are good but humanity as a whole is not.

Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Note: Jesus is not saying He isn't good. He is simply asking the person calling Him "good master" a question.

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Romans 3:11-12 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

We all need a Saviour for a reason.

If we were good we wouldn't need one.

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

If we have to get to heaven because we are good you won't be seeing me there.

This is my take on why homosexuality is a sin:

God made male/female, the purpose being to allow procreation, and to create family units that are useful in a variety of ways. Basically, sex sustains the world.

God declares homosexuality a sin(an abomination even, I believe). Analyzing the purpose for sex(biologically speaking, recreational purposes are manmade), we see that homosexuality not only does nothing beneficial, it also goes against God's plan of nature. Plus, if everyone simultaneously went against nature and became homosexual, the world would collapse. Population would decrease so rapidly, and fewer and fewer people would be born, that eventually we would face human extinction. Now, I beleive that if something is okay for a few to do, then it is okay for everybody-case in point, if it is okay for a few to be homosexual, it is okay for all people. But we know that this would not work. God's idea is 'go forth and multiply' apparently.

However, I think it can be inferred from the Bible that there will be no marriage in heaven, and subsequently no sex and procreation. I think sex is only God's plan for a time. It has it's purposes now. In God's future kingdom, sex, of all kinds, will be non-issues and non-existent.
