KJB is my favorite It is not the Word of God because it is King James... Those folks who came before had the Word... What happenes to KJ when it is translated into some language not english? it is still King James.. :shrug

So do you know where i can find the "word of God", as you say that no bible is the word of God?
do you mean the Pope.?
Sorry, that doesn't work for me or about 6 billion other people on the planet.
I need the BIBLE, i need the WORD, so, if you have no faith in any translation because you feel that all are the handiwork of scripture twisters, then take your time and you tell me where the word of God is to be found, as unless God is dead, He'd want me to have it.
And as you say that bibles are not the word of God, then you tell me what is, Reba?
And ......"i dont know" is not an answer, as you are very energetic to dismiss the bible and to give your opinion that bibles are not the word, so, now you tell us where the word is found, if not a bible, , now that you have shown us where you believe it isnt found in a bible.

The non-Pauline books aren't very friendly to the hyper-grace movement. Thus the need to erroneously divide them away from what Paul taught.

Its not that the "non-pauline" books are the issue...
As they are not the issue., as its the wrongly dividing the word that is the issue.
This is related to the uninformed, who couldn't care less what the bible says "because my church tells me what to think," crowd, who pretend to care about James or Paul or the word of God, but really they just like to listen to themselves talk, who are the issue.
And the other issue is the lazy type, who just think that all the epistles teach the same thing, and who dont really want to learn anything about their bible or how to understand it or how to use it, who like to sound as if they care, when they really dont.
They have their 4 memory verses they've learned in 20 years of being saved, they could not name all the books in the bible or the NT if they had a pop quiz, and YET< they know how to sound "spiritual" on a Christian forum.

Where did i say such a thing as this? So do you know where i can find the "word of God", as you say that no bible is the word of God?

Kidron you might re-read my post and retract yours...

Ive not said that no bible is the word of God.
Where did you hear this?
I think that God gave us the english translation because God knows that in the end times, the most common language that is taught in all countries, across the globe, is ENGLISH.
Nobody in Germany is being taught Spanish in the classroom, but they are being taught english.
This is in every country...as ENGLISH is the language of the world, even if its a secondary language.
So, God made certain we had an english bible for the latter days.
See it?

You would call it a translation from the Koine Greek, as if the Koine Greek needs to be the real bible, but tell me, who speaks Koine Greek?
Is Koine greek the most practiced and used worldwide language in these last days before God shows up @ the 2nd advent?
So, God was ahead of all this, and so you have the bible in English as He knew that in the end times ENGLISH would be the language of the world., and it is.......so you have the KJV.
And like i said, you can take the KJV and use it to judge other bibles and find out if they are worth keeping or if they are needing to be in the dumpster.
Take a verse like 1 Timothy 3:16........why would any "bible" want to downgrade "God manifested in the flesh" to "he was manifested in the flesh"., yet, a great many of the new versions do it.

You wrote this........

Reba writes...
""""KJB is my favorite *It is not the Word of God* because it is King James...""""""

So, what part of what i said about you saying that, do you want me to retract?
You said its not the word of God, so, then i asked what is...
Thats all i said.

Clarify your post #21 where you claim i said this. and i did not say such a thing

Did i misunderstand you?
Are you saying that there is a bible that IS the word of God, but the KJV isnt?

So, what i thought you are saying is that no bible is the word of God.
So, unless you are not saying that, then tell me which bible you believe is the word of God.
Ive no issue with retraction, if you have no issue with telling me which bible is the word of God.
Fair enough?

After speaking with staff. I see the problem my lack of grammar and punctuation cause a misreading for Kidron not of his making..
I will re-write my post...
The KJB is my favorite Bible. The fact that King James had it translated does not make it the Word of God.. It was the Word before it was translated. There were/are translations before and after.

Thank you :thumb

I see the bible as an instructional book to help us learn how to connect with God's spirit, but as for the bible superseding the spirit.

I really doubt that to be the case.

Does one have to be above the other? The Bible points us to God (in all three persons), and the Spirit points us to the Bible.

The bible is the word of God, and is inspired by the Holy Spirt, and because of this.....any "inner voice" that is leading you, that does not agree with the word of God, is not the Holy Spirit.
So, be real careful with those inner voices, and always let the Bible be your guide.
As a matter of fact, any voice that is leading you to come to a thread thats only about the Bible being the final authority, and these inner voices are leading you to say that the "spirit" is more important then obeying and trusting the word of God as your final authority....
Well, i suggest you think about that, realchild.
See, God tells you to "study to show thyself approved unto God".....and that is not studying geometry or the works of Archimedes, .....no, you are to study the BIBLE.
