Unmarried Christians are having as much sex as non-Christians.
Television has had a huge part in that.
Never heard that one before, but I like it! I have no antenna or cable service (other than INTERNET cable and we all know there ain't no porn or bad stuff on the 'net!)Slightly off topic in the 50s on every ones roof a TV antenna ... We did not know how right we were to nick name it the "devils tail"
No, they are not. SOME Christians are, but many, many Christians are - to some extent at least - trying to not do this!Unmarried Christians are having as much sex as non-Christians. Your thoughts and comments on this subject.
Why do people do that... probably because they enjoy it.
If you are christian and single and stick to the rules you might have to live for years without touching another person. That's hard to survive. Humans need body contact with other humans.
That's my theory. It's not about lust and satisfaction, but about loneliness and emotional needs.
Our societies are very much in favour of individuality and interpersonal distance. Sex is almost the only way to experience closeness to someone when you're single.
These Christians Believers are called "Carnal Christians". These people are part of the family of God (Paul calls them brethren). Though they have the Holy Spirit (unlike the natural man of 1 Corinthians 2:14) they are not behaving like spiritual people, but like carnal - that is, fleshly -people, like immature Christians (babes in Christ). The "Carnal Christian" is a child of God, born again and on his way to heaven, but they are traveling third class.
