Will drivers license become extinct?

Well,I don't want it to happen to me so I shall do what is right and not have to pay the $100.00.

I don't have a suspended license that is normal fee to renew. I have a cdl class b and intend to keep that. I may if I get off my duff add the the passenger cert to it when I take that test.

cash is still cheaper, if I pay for gas in cash, I get 10 cents a gallon cheaper, not that this stuff cant be used for evil. it can be.

Well, you don't need to carry your Lic with you anyway unless your a CDL holder.

That's not true of any state I know of. You have to have your license if you drive. In my state you don'[t have to show your insurance card because that is on file when renewing that drivers license.

I don't use a smart phone now so this App would be of no use to me. I can imagine this would be an option but when hackers can compromise smart phones, often with manufacturers assist, this doesn't sound like it is going to take the place of the state issued licenses that have security factors implanted inside the card itself.
