I'm a Christian and I believe in the second coming of Jesus. However, I don't think he will come back on the clouds of the sky. In my opinion he will born again as a normal human and when he reaches a certain age something special will happen in his life.

What do you think?

Show scripture to prove that. Of course, I know you can't since it's not true.

Jesus told Nicodemus...

John 3:3 ...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. KJV

In a sense Jesus Christ is 'born again', but this birth is IN the NEW BIRTH (conversion)
of the Christian, not a 'natural birth' like that of a 'normal human'.

1 Peter 1:23
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever. KJV

John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. KJV

I can't quote the exact verse, but in Revelations it says Jesus will come down from the clouds for all to see.

That don't sound like he'll be born to a human to me...

Hi Max,

There is one Biblical passage that may shed some light on this question. When we need some proof text to point to how Jesus will return, we should start here:

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

He went up as a man and will return the same way.

As always, we should not rely on what we think because Scripture tells us this:

Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Prov 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Colossians 1;18
And he is the head of the body, the church;who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead;that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.
Rev 1;5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.Unto him that loved us and washed us from ouyr sins in his own blood.

Rev 1;18
I am he that liveth, and was dead;and behold,I am alive for evermore,Amen;and have the keys of hell and of death.

Just like Jesus was born form above, He must be born from below.

''For the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven with a loud shout and the voice of the Archangel...''

Angels as in Angel of the Lord are spirits, and it is written that He will suddenly come into His temple, ...Like lightning...

Good point Max. Just like when He returns with the angels, they too need to be born of water if they are to live in the kingdom of God on earth. As they are spirits.

Just like when a spirit or demon possess human vessels...The same goes here.

I think you've been listening to too much Shirley MacLaine and not enough Jesus Christ. :halo
