The Apostle Paul talks about the Philippians and the Thessalonians as each being his crown in heaven.

In the Bible they are listed as 5 different crowns and they say "rewards" not reward.So I am assuming that there are 5 different crowns.We do not keep them for they go at the feet of Jesus.

The "rewards" are the crowns.I say that because when the Bible says rewards I am taking that literally.

I don't want anything for it.I could have never have done it on my own.It is all about the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ.

The Apostles ask the same thing to Jesus. Matthew 18:

Being awarded any one of these crowns will be an honor beyond anything we can imagine. Let's go for them!!! Do not be disqualified. If you are not dead, God's not done with you! It's time to get serious! No more excuses!

Our number 1 goal is Jesus Christ and our eternal home in heaven not how many crowns one can receive.That is the way this world would look at it.There is no greed in heaven.

I don't think it really means that Rollo.I used to but that would mean that there would be rank in heaven and there is not.

How can there be greed in Heaven if sin cannot enter into God's very presence? Perhaps you might want to do a study on Heaven.

I think we are thinking on human terms, that's the problem.
God has to tell us things in human terms because we don't understand heavenly terms.
Just as angels don't understand how we can give up the things of this world for an unseen God.
Jesus washed the feet on his disciples, his creation.
He lowered himself beneath his own creation as an example to us as to how he wants us to be.

Then how did Lucifer sin. He was in heaven too
