will we get a chance to evangelize in the millenium or other oppertunity?

the millenium is from revelation, a book full of word pictures, but which peope assume is a literal 1K years.

All we need to concern ourselves with is our role is to evangelise untill Jesus returns.

I think some will. I bet people will be a lot more open...or at least you'd think they would be. Perhaps the next 20 years will bring in a large harvest.

What would be the different between the and now as we should all be evangelizing until the day we are caught up to Christ. We must always be about our Fathers business.

There is also a lot on the millennial Messianic kingdom in Isaiah. It is not a unique NT concept.

The jews were looking for the Messiah, yet were so fixed upon there understanding of what the Messiah would do that they totally missed him.

In the same way those who are obcessed with the second coming will be shocked at just how wrong they were.

All we know for certain is that Jesus is coming again, everything else is speculation.

Something they never tell you in Sunday School or Christian sermons: The Jews were actually looking for 2 Messiahs; Messiah Son of Joseph (suffering servant) and Messiah Son of David. (conquering King) And they kept arguing (1st century ad and bc) which would come first, would they be the same person or not, etc.

The ortho-Jews are expecting the return of Messiah soon. It will be amazing when the Christians and ortho-Jews join together in praising Jesus Mashiach!
As it is, I see both parties on a collision course and will one day be on the same page.
I believe that Lord's plan is far beyond what our puny minds can comprehend!
He came for the house of Israel before...this time He's coming for the house of Judah!

I can see it now...the ortho-Jews speaking in tongues...prophesying...drunk on the Spirit...falling over...shaking...rolling on the ground...running around the room...doing the Pentecostal two-step! That will get people's attention! It'll be a hoot! Lol

I guess you have visited a Tikkun congregation or conference.

"To say 'another covenant', that does not mean another way of salvation. God can both save the Jews according to the New Covenant in Christ's blood, and can also give them a kingdom and a glory according to another covenant, that does not extend to Gentiles." - marks

Never heard of it.
Tikkun International is the most charismatic/pentecostal of the various Messianic groups. It was founded by Rabbi Dan Juster. His son Ben is now in charge of the North American division. I am friends with both of them.

Juster had previously set up the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC) with 2 other rabbis, back circa 1980. The UMJC is one of 2 largest Messianic groups in the US. But he was considered way too charismatic and in the late 1990s organized Tikkun as a much more pentecostal organization.

Thank you very much! It's only been a few years since the Lord revealed to me my Hebrew ancestry...there's so much to learn!
