Simple Poll for old times sake:

When delighting your soul with the pleasure that we call an Oreo, do you partke with our without milk?
 
I'm lactose intolerant to cow's milk, ... but Goat's milk is the best ever, that mouth-watering, rich creamy, pure milky delicious taste of a lamb ...... :pepsi (replace pepsi with goat's milk)

Yay... a food poll! I wonder Tim... have you ever polled Ian? Does he like strained peas with or without carrots? Or is he more of an applesauce and banana's kind of guy? :lol

To dunk or not to dunk, that is a serious question.

Milk, cream, hot cocoa, coffee..... plain .... they can add to the soothing indulgence of oreos.

A bigger connundrum: original Oreos.... or.... Double Stuff Oreos !
 
Ian is certainly a Applesauce Little boy. He would eat two 7oz containers if we'd let him....after his 1 1/2 pieces of toast...after his entire stick of string cheese...after several dozen Cherios.

Okay, so he doesn't eat all that in one sitting, but everything goes good with applesauce!:yes:yes:yes

....Handy, you got me to thread jack my own thread. Will a moderator please give me an informal warning to stay on topic. :shame
 
My wife told me Roger Mason says that milk causes cancer in adults...so we haven't had cow's milk in our house in years (some decisions you just gotta let your wife make whether you agree with them or not).

I don't miss it much, and it saves us lots of money, but I haven't considered how much money we're spending on soy milk these days.

But even if we did have real cow's milk in the house I would not drink it with the generic Oreos that we occasionally have in the house.
 
Jethro, if it were organic grass fed cows I would say Roger was wrong, but who can afford that stuff? Try almond milk. There is also a sweetened version that uses beets and not sugar! num num num.

Listen to your wife. Anything else is hazardous to your health regardless of if she is right or wrong.

Even bigger conundrum. There are 47 different Oreo varieties to choose from!!!

The only sweetened milk I like is when it's poured over Kellogg's Frosted Flakes. They'rrrrrre Great! (Nobody ever liked my Tony the Tiger impersonation...nor my Fred Sanford...nor my Krusty the Clown...nor my...)

Seriously ? 47 ???

Obviously, I live in backwoods territory, even though a major university is nearby. The grocery stores around here offer 3: original Oreos, Double Stuff, and chocolate covered.

Grief ... I knew I live a somewhat shelted life...but this is ridiculous!
