Yes, it's actually made me much more compassionate, as well as thankful that God is so patient with us! Those who fall God is able to raise up again, as he certainly has me...

Yes, and excellent post. This is what happened to that sister I was describing in Post #10. She already had issues with anxiety when I first met her, and she got so much better once she settled into ministry with me and saw she was being used of God. But when the attacks came, all her old anxieties resurfaced and worse than ever.

Me has well. It has been quite a long time, but the burden I felt over my calling for many years was exceedingly strong, and it was hard to tell anyone cuz I hadn't entered into my ministry yet, so how could they understand when they could see no evidence? But they disappeared a good seven plus years back completely. Only during this last incident... I felt a tinge again. I was like, "Oh no... not this again. I thought I was done with suicidal thoughts." But it was only a tinge, and I'm happy to say I have completely broken that heavy spirit off of me now, and I mean completely. Turned from absolute night to day, which is all the more evidence to me it was an attack.
When I was seeking God within a dark place in my life after falling away from Him so many years ago God gave me these words in Deuteronomy 28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them. These words began a renewed Spiritual relationship with Christ that I found I never really had before. The enemy will always try to attack, but now I have learned to put on the full armour of God to stand against his devices.

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

"Withstanding The Attacks Of The Enemy...."

The Title gives some context.
Not everything of course is an attack.
But words matter, and wrong words lead to perhaps only a little deception at first, then grows more and more if not corrected. And more and more people are deceived the longer errors are promoted.

1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you ...

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

Proverbs 27:5–6; Matthew 18:15; Luke 17:3; Galatians 6:1; Ephesians ...
Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.

According to Scripture, correcting someone who has sinned is an essential aspect of Christian charity and community. The Bible emphasizes the importance of gentle and humble correction, rather than harsh judgment or condemnation.

Follower, no offense, but no one else picked up on this "sin" you think is so terrible but you. Guardian Angel was correct. Being knit picky about the slightest little thing turns people off to Christianity rather than drawing them to it. So is pointing the finger. And since you insist on doing this repeatedly, this forum is for Pentecostals only, and anyone who is not one is breaking CFN rules by posting here. Are you one?

When we 1st see the light, we get all excited, but don't manage it so well. Thinking we've found the panacea for everything we preach it in an unbridled way to all, still being aware that we have little experience in it.

Later, we are brought down to earth, to learn to properly integrate new life into our earthly lives, and we don't fully understand how heaven works out its life in us. Often, we became judgmental, seeing flaws in others and become frustrated that others do not experience the power and life we did.

But over time, we become ever more aware that it is God in us, and not our own accomplishments, that bring about this life. The glory is all God's.

The flaws now appear in us, and we try to limit our errors as much as possible. We try to avoid big sins, but even little sins appear ever bigger.

Ultimately, we are just thankful God puts up with us, and we try to be more patient with others, and humble ourselves, so that God continues to use us. It's a process....

It is true, however, that some just stop along the way. They surrender to the problems or to a wrong interest in self-preservation. They choose to indulge in self-pity, and rationalize away carnal pursuits. We are right to judge these things as wrong.

But some may be willing to get back on the donkey and try again, if we are patient, and encouraging--especially if we love them.

So there is judgment and there is non-judgment. We have to know the difference. But it is always "love."

It's a good word. I learned the promises of Deuteronomy 28 back when I was involved in the Faith Movement back around the turn of the decade. I eventually distanced myself from the extremes, but as scripture teaches I kept the good. He has no intention of just keeping us under the enemy's thumb night and day, because it's the "will of God." He has zero interest in us being subject to witchcraft. Quite the contrary, He has every intention of us destroying the works of Satan and putting them to an open shame, as happened in the Book of Acts.

Good to hear you received a word of victory and received it. Not a word of defeat.

lol! The Lord really invests in numbers. When some Christians see a special number come up, they try to figure out what God is saying to them. He may or may not be doing that, but for me, I think God is just saying "hello" to me--my birthday numbers appear pretty regularly. ;)
