Wives who have domineering spirit

There are wives I know who kind of naturally posses this domineering spirit. They always take actions (while the man stares), sorta. Are they doing the wrong thing??? Most of these husbands are naturally quiet human beings

I'm not a wife, but I have been dating one of those quiet souls this past year, so I'm curious to see what folks think. Neither of us are terribly bold really. LOL

My last train-wreck-of-a-marriage was to a domineering woman. She was seductive, beautiful (on the outside), successful, VERY intelligent and was capable of reading people more accurately than any person I've known since my father. I loved her like no other woman I've ever met.


But having said all of the above, it was no life for me. I am NOT naturally quiet (altho I was very shy up to about my late 30's).


I think such woman ARE doing the wrong thing, and I think they (and those around them) pay quite a price for this.
But on the other hand, a domineering husband is equally distasteful to me. (Just thought I'd throw that in.
