Woe to the prophets who speak peace, comfort Israel's ears, smooth things to harm

Psalms 55:6
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
7 Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.

At the baptism of Jesus, John the Baptist saw the Holy Spirit descend as a done on Jesus. A previous vision (?) gave him information about the dove.

John 1:33
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

Mark 1:9
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

The Holy Spirit descended on Jesus. Of whom did David speak? David spoke of the Messiah.

Just after the baptism, Jesus was caught away to the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. The Spirit was to remain with Jesus through his assertion.

If you see the Psalms 55 passage as being about Jesus, then you understand who has the Holy Spirit to accomplish salvation. If you believe on the work of Jesus, then salvation comes to the Jews and Gentiles.

If the passage is ascribed to someone less than the Messiah, then there is no true eternal salvation or peace.

Symbolic prophecy requires a born again heart and spirit for understanding. If Israel experiences true peace, it comes through Jesus Christ.

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
