So do I - I just don't accept God wrote it.
well that is the reason i said do some deep soul searching. faith comes by hearing hearing comes by the Word of God. there is no salvation outside of what the Bible teaches us. the Bible is our road map if we can,t trust it. then there is a problem.
{inspired} GOD BREATHED

Do you have a clue as to what inspiration means?

2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Exactly what I said - so I fail to understand the problem.

You apparently cannot accept that men wrote the biblical texts. You have effectively made an ultimatum to God: if God did not personally write the Bible you will not trust what is therein contain.

First you say this:

So do I - I just don't accept God wrote it.

I respond with this:

Do you have a clue as to what inspiration means?

Then you say this?:

Exactly what I said - so I fail to understand the problem.

You have no clue what "inspiration of God" is, you flop like a fish out of water.

I suggest you do a study of what "inspired" means.

As ezra has pointed out above "inspiration" is from the Greek "θεοπνευστος" meaning "divinely breathed" or "God Breathed".

Again this is off topic (at least three times now I said if you think there is issue with the validity of the Bible (translation/interpretation) etc... then I would gladly entertain it in this thread : Versions of the Bible...)

If you don't believe the bible is Gods word your on the wrong forum.

The Bible was written by men.

No, men were simply the scribes...

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

It is the teaching of the universal church that men have the authority over the scriptures, i.e. the primacy of Peter Doctrine.

I thought the thread was about women's roles as leaders?

Who was created first?
