World of Warcraft

So , No one else plays WoW? I find that hard to believe since 10 million people subscribe to it worldwide.

haha, your not alone! I'll admit that WoW is my one guilty nerd pleasure :-D

I haven't touched it because everyone I know who plays it gets addicted to it. I'm a bit obssive to begin with.

I play, 70 holy pally on bronzebeard, 1700+ heals =D, almost in full epics

my time ran out though so im lookin for a gamecard, so now im chillin on a private server

Dwarf Shadow Priest or Holy on Ghostlands US

1350 shadow damage or 2k heals (before patch. i think its like 1200 spell damage now)
500 resil 1k spell disc set.

Kind of stopped pve'ing since the nerf, and stayed out of arena and bgs as well since the godly rets (getting pew pew'd in 500 resil by a JoC'ing blue geared ret became lame). Will pick it back up during WotLK when all the balancing is fixed.

Yes this game is very addictive. I picked up a copy back in march for something to do during the down time, who knew that after a while, life becomes something you do during your wow downtime. :-D

Until a good deal of the new changes, I loved playing paladins. Otherwise priests. The paladins I am not so fond of anymore, still enjoying my priests though.

Bump!! I have to say I play WOW. I stopped playing a month ago. I just needed a break but I have an eighty prot pally, 80 restor druid, 75 frost mage, 70 holy priest, 70 hunter.... Yeah I would have to say I play. I prob will not go back to it till duel spec comes out, which I am hoping in the next few months.

Wow is a MMORPG broken down barney style so any 10 year old can play it. It has a horrible game engine, horrible pvp, and horrible grouping. All around bad game. Unless you enjoy nonstop PvE and raids. Then by all means play it.

On the contrary, I do not raid, play pvp, or the like. Rather simply enjoy it for the quests and the ability of making a character as I choose in terms of talents. Naturally it is not going to be a game for everyone. So to each their own. :)

Curious as to your progression on arena or pve.

As with any game, anyone can play to average. WoW just makes it really easy to be mediocre.

But to say anyone can just get on wow and own shows you haven't played or not played very much.

Bar running the current OP combo in 2s, bad players won't make it far. Even average players who setup the current OP combo get capped fairly early, depending on the battlegroup they are in.

PVP still has issues with point farmers in 5s, but its no where near what it was. Arena has become highly competitive and you do not get far if you do not know what your doing.

.........Id love to see the best WoW 5 man go up against any half way decent 5 man DaOc Guild. Would be a sad site to see, truly would. Daoc players rely on good group setups and each person playing their class to its perfection. I just didnt see that in wow. I acualyl saw NONE of it.

1. What rating did you get to in 5man arena?

2. What battle group did you arena on? This has a major impact on the skill level you run into. The top rated teams on Ruin BG play their classes and setups to perfection.

Here take ur best 5 man against my random PUG(pick up group) usually consists of randoms and people who dont play together much, play a trial account of daoc for a month. Ill even pay to twink ur toons. And fight us. I played wow before they even incorperated arenas with standings like they have now. Funny how they leech it from other games that have been around for years and claim it to be theirs.

So you played wow a long time ago before it even had pvp content, save the crit party that vanilla bgs were.

Another words, your just making baseless assumptions.

All I wanted to know.

And to be fair, games leech off each other all the time. That's the norm.

I play as well. I have an 80 warrior and working on a DK. All mine are on Runetotem and Thrall.

I also play WoW. My characters are on Aerie Peak.

lol, a funny thought hit my head the other day when I was doing one of the Northrend quest. It was the one where you had to rescue feared villagers in Dragonblight. Sometimes when you landed near them, they would run away from you, and into the scourge making it difficult for you to rescue them. Kind of made me think about running away from God when times become that tough.
