How about the police that were standing there.
The bank robber had already murdered three bank tellers.
The murderer refused to drop his gun.
He was fixing to kill the police officers.
How about their families?
How about their children?
How many more people would he murder in the process of robbing the bank?

Your pacifist position has severe love-deficiencies when it come to protecting the
lives of the innocent people that God loves.

Your pacifist prescriptions would also wreck and destroy America.

On your lights America would be totally at the NO-MERCY of hardened
criminals both at the local levels and at the national level.

I will continue to trust God instead of weapons and myself.

It seems odd that you would post Eph 2:8 in large letters, then argue against it?
Why is that?
I am saved by faith, as per Eph 2:8.
You would prefer all-out battles with guns and tanks and jet fighters and whatever else man designed to "save himself".
You need a new "footer".

I can post derelict veteran graves from any American war ,civil war and prior are common .even revolutionary war vets .


you only include ww2 as being just .

ask a nam vet at the va if he feels his war was that way ,or Iraq and afghan war .

I get your point , outside of the veterans circles seldom will I talk about this .my wife tried today and I blew it off . only a Vietnam or Korean war vet gets how my veterans era feels about losing buddies for nothing .

even ww2 vets are known to say it was not worth it .

You may want more of an answer than what I have already posted, but you don't need it.
The only way you can justify unending violence is to delete God from your scenarios.
As a Christian, I cant do that.
