Yes I do brother. What makes you think that we can not zap ourselves here and there in the here and now? We're talking about translation here. From what I understand though we can only do it if it is in accordance with Gods will. We can't just say hey let's go shopping in Paris.

One of the men who is teaching about this stuff said that the Lord (began teaching him about it) asked him what's the shortest distance between two points? (Everyone knows that one) so he said a straight line, and the Lord said, no, the shortest distance between two points is already being there. Of course this is mere (?!) testimony, however, it is scriptural in that, Enoch and Philip were both translated, and God doesn't change. I believe that anything that God did for them in the OT, He will do for us today, perhaps more.

I got nothing against horses. It's been years since I rode but I can, and will.

Firstly, I said "Do you really think God will let us just Zap ourselves" so we don't disagree it's possible to Zap, and you indicate when you say "we can't just go to Paris" it's more a miraculous than a General mode of transportation so I assume we agree there too, hence we may need a regular mode of transportation as well. I had more a general mode of transportation in mind when I'm mentioned it. But none of this is to say that Zapping can't be a major mode of transportation, remember, all this is speculation.

But I think not, simply because many miricals were performed by God but usually only in emergency situations, or when God was really angry, like parting the waters, confusing the creeps in Sodom when they wanted the Angels, flooding the world and a few others but, in the scheme of things, hardly any at all. They were also performed in healings by Jesus to prove a point but all in all, not many of those either. So, from that I conclude there will still be miracles, that is if we would even need them in Heaven, but we will need general ways to do things too. Now, the rules in Heaven could change drastically where everything is zapped, food/clothing and the list goes on, but unless God has a lot of stuff for us to do that we aren't accounting for, I doubt it because we need to stay busy with something....we just don't know, there are so many variables and way too much that's unknown, fo us to do anything more than contemplate possibilities.

I got nothing against horses. It's been years since I rode but I can, and will.

That actually wouldn't be bad at all, especially since we will likely have no pain. It's something I could look forward to and if the roads were set up for it, very likely something I'd do now instead of a car being in the country. That and a small wagon for groceries and such, no gas, no car insurance, very few breakdowns...

That could be the way it was/is meant to be.

Oh ok, I guess I did sorta misunderstand a little. Yes you're right brother, we are in agreement. It is possible...and it'll be for emergency use only in the last days. I think I had it in the back of my head though that once we're in heaven and have been changed in the twinkl;ing of an eye...that perhaps we could do it at will?

It's more likely as I see it, we can do it at will in heaven when we may not be able to here. He just couldn't trust us with a power like that now, but heaven? It's a whole new ball game.

I was going to say lets try it and try to come up with something that is Gods will to make that happen but, it would probably scare me so badly... I'd need treatment the rest of my natural born life to get over it. 2

Uhh, Elijah did do it to, you're right. But Philip did do it too. But Philip was translated physically to another location on earth. See:

Acts 8: 39-40
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea./ (KJV)

I hear ya brother. it was probably how it was for Adam & Eve before the fall. Then it was blocked for them. After Jesus came (and the veil was rent in two...) is when it became accessible for us again, but within the confines of the will of God only...until we are transfigured??

I chewed on this for a bit, in wonderment that if the veil was rent in two by God...then why are so few people able to see beyond the veil? This must be one of those having eyes, but can not see, and ears but can not hear things. I think we veil ourselves with our world views perhaps?
