That is insane. Unless Jesus Himself is camped out at the other end, there isn't a chance that I would be in a car on that road! :eeeekkk
Much less dangerous, but still crazy to me, is a mountainside road we were driven on by a tour guide in Colorado. This was about 15 years ago, and I hope someone has had the sense to put up rails by now. It was in Ouray, Colorado. The roads were barely wide enough for two cars to edge past, and they would cruise into blind bends in the road where they couldn't have known if another car was coming in the other direction. :help
On one side of the road was nothing but a drop-off of 100 yards or more. They had lookout points where you could park and get out of your car. No rails. Just scoot up as close as your heart would let you and look out over the edge. We had our son with us who was about 12 months at the time, and we were tense (I mean, tense) keeping an eye on him and a hand clenched around his arm.
I couldn't believe such a dangerous, yet extremely beautiful, road would be legally driven on here in the U.S. That was an awesome experience, and I'm glad I am here to right about it today!
