Would You drive here

That is insane. Unless Jesus Himself is camped out at the other end, there isn't a chance that I would be in a car on that road! :eeeekkk

Much less dangerous, but still crazy to me, is a mountainside road we were driven on by a tour guide in Colorado. This was about 15 years ago, and I hope someone has had the sense to put up rails by now. It was in Ouray, Colorado. The roads were barely wide enough for two cars to edge past, and they would cruise into blind bends in the road where they couldn't have known if another car was coming in the other direction. :help

On one side of the road was nothing but a drop-off of 100 yards or more. They had lookout points where you could park and get out of your car. No rails. Just scoot up as close as your heart would let you and look out over the edge. We had our son with us who was about 12 months at the time, and we were tense (I mean, tense) keeping an eye on him and a hand clenched around his arm.

I couldn't believe such a dangerous, yet extremely beautiful, road would be legally driven on here in the U.S. That was an awesome experience, and I'm glad I am here to right about it today!

When we go to the store and purchase items from these countries we need to consider the dangers that people encounter in transporting items to the cities.. Something to think about.

Found a much better link: http://atlasobscura.com/place/north-yungas-road
Makes the tail of the Dragon in NC/TN look like a walk in the park ! There is a Discovery Channel show that chronicled that road, they looked into some of the accidents that have happened. Many have died on that road.
