Now this is super cool. I had a terrible nights sleep, kept tossing and turning and gave up o going back to sleep at about 5 or so this morning, but what's that noise? I looked out the window, and it's coming down like cats and dogs. Great, no sleep and working in the rain. I thought about calling off or wondered if they would call it a day for the rain. Thiswould be only my fourth day with them...better not. Good if they do but I can't yet, lol. I was saying my morning prayer this AM and knew I was about to go to work so I invited Jesus to come with me and help me today because, I felt like crap this morning! He has helped me on jobs before a few times so I like to invite Jesus to come with me...

Boy am I glad I went to work today! The nice customer offered me a cup of coffee to be nice and I accepted. While she was making it we chatted and I told her I appreciate the coffee because my coffee maker got taken out fast by Canton's high mineral water, ugh. I get my coffee and go to work. After we're done installing her new furnace and was doing the start up on it and starting to clean up she comes up to me and says here, I want to give you something...and hands me a brand new coffee pot new in the box unopened! WOW!

That's about as cool as you can get for a tip when your such a coffeeholic like I am, lol! So I say thank you and God Bless you guys for this! and then she slips a check into my hand for 30 dollars and says I'd like to help you with this too but I am sorry that I can't really do the same for your partner...(she waited until my partner went outside to slip me the check). Maybe I look more needy than my partner does? Lol...

I thought about it and I have to give credit to the Lord for this today because more and more I seem to be learning that...there's no such thing as a coincidence on this earth. That was the Lord! I needed that coffeepot and the 30 bucks! It was about then that I finally started noticing all the pictures of Jesus in these peoples house. In every room. So we chatted a bunch more, about the Lord mostly!

But like I said...inviting the Lord to go to work with you is always a Blessing! Praise the Lord, what a great day!

What an awesome God we have. You must have a strong faith Edward.

I don't know about strong cuz I fall down regularly, lol but I am learning one thing real good over time, He responds to faith in action. He is such an awesome God, He knows that I like my coffee...and this is the second time He has gifted me with something coffee related. First time was 2 lbs of gourmet (because I almost prayed for it but decided not to because scripture says He already knows what we need...so I didn't. Coffee was knocking on my door with 30 minutes, lol!)...and now a coffee pot!

He is generous with His children. Verna's shared her testimony with me a number of times, and now I scan CFnet for other peoples' testimonies, and....

He is the one, true, living God, and He is kind to His children. :-)
