Here are some that personally impacted me and not in any particular order:

What Good Is Good?: In Search of a Faith That Matters by Philip Yancy
In the Shadow of the Cross: A Biblical Theology of Persecution and Discipleship by Glenn M. Penner
Tortured for Christ by Richard Wurmbrand
Hope for the Troubled Heart: Finding God in the Midst of Pain by Billy Graham
The Prodigal God: Recovering the Heart of the Christian Faith by Timothy Keller
Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan
My Utmost For His Highest by Oswald Chambers (it's really a devotional book)
The Well: Why Many Are Still So Thirsty by Mark Hall and Tim Luke

I'm currently reading Gray Matter by David I. Levy and so far it's pretty good. Also, I'm looking forward to reading Storm Warning by Billy Graham and Twelve Unlikely Heroes by John MacArthur.

All John Lennox books
The Galileo connection by Charles Hummel
The case for the resurrection of Jesus by Gary habermas and Michael licona
Wild at heart by john eldridge

I recommend these three books:

Not really trying to sell you on that website. It's just they offer the books at the best price especially when you get all three on one purchase like in the link. They are:
Eusebius' Ecclesiastical History
The Works of Josephus
The Works of Philo

A very good book that I'm reading now is called The Jewish Gospels. A very good place to get information on early christianity.

I also recommend:
The Book of Enoch(I prefer the Richard Laurence translation. There are many others, some with much more commentary).
The Book of Jasher(I prefer the 1840 J.H. Parry edition).
The Book of Jubilees(I prefer the George H. Schodde version).

Instead of going crazy for the perfect translations like this, you could probably find a collection from R. H. Charles with plenty of commentary. I'd be weary of more recent translations.

Also, I recommend The Lost Books of the Bible and the Forgotten Books of Eden. It has been reprinted 100 times and is inexpensive and easy to find with plenty of books within. I specifically like the first and second books of adam and eve.
