If you need to scare the Love of Jesus into any pagan, Islamic, Jewish, New Age, homosexual, etc in your life start with this website.

Good intro for kids as well.

Heh...awesome :-D

I suppose....this is the typical result from those religious people that take one or a few scriptures and become obsessed with them.

For all the effort put into it, you'd think they would have spell checked the URL. It should be youre (can't use apostrophes in a URL I don't believe) not your.

It's...well, it's interesting.

Hello, Soma-Sight,

First, one wonders how solid the information would be on a site whose owner spelled you're incorrectly.

Secondly, how likely would a person be to seek information from a site that announces in its name that the seeker is going to hell? It is both arrogant and ignorent to claim knowledge as to who specifically is going to hell and who is not. I think a site so-named will be of very limited value as a witnessing tool.

Finally, what are the best reasons to become a follower of Jesus? He laid down his life for you. He is the best, most gracious, most moral and most loving human ever to walk the earth, and he deserves your discipleship. He teaches to his followers how to demonstrate those excellent qualities that he possesses. Those are some very good reasons to be a follower of Jesus.
To avoid hell is the lowest reason to become a follower of Jesus. It is fear-based and selfish in the extreme.

Did you read this on your page:

New Agers HELL Scam..

New Agers will always use scripture that they select from the Bible to try to prove their false doctrine.. They love to quote certain verses of scripture that they twist and try to get it to apply to their Hellbound beliefs. So I will explain it so you don't get tricked into HELL by them.. Hellbounds love company.

JER 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

New Agers will try to use this verse to get you to believe in reincarnation and that we use to hang out with God and we needed to come to earth to suffer. I call this evil doctrine and is the first step in tricking you into HELL. To fully understand what I am talking about you must understand that we are made up of body, soul and spirit.. God gave you everything one of these.. But he only wants one back! The spirit comes back to him! That is part of him and is the purest part of yourself. His spirit that gave you life on earth he is taking back if you go to HELL.. this part does not see hell. You're basically a Rent-A-Reck.. your on a lease program and GOD is going to take a look at what you did to HIS spirit when you die. The Body goes back into dust of the earth and your soul either goes to Heaven or HELL. Your soul is you.. It was a clean slate when you were born and you slowly attached your human traits (demons) to it. Your Soul is one with your spiritual body and contains all your memory's.. So if you go to HELL you will remember everything in HELL. Satan will also fragment your Soul.. as you continue to SIN your soul becomes more damaged and evil spirits can attach themselves to your soul..

By Satan fragmenting your soul he can control you better by having the spirits generate your thoughts.. spiritual parasites move in and make up your new personality..You basically get slowly programed into being evil by unclean spirits.

PSA 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

In this PSALM David rejoices that God has restored his soul.. God had Angels fix up David's soul so he could start being himself again! God can restore your soul also.. but it takes WORK.. don't think this process is some instant act.. Some get blessed with an instant restoration.. If this happens to you.. God is moving you along quick! David had to work at his.. how? He fasted often.. fasting is a sacrifice to the Living God.. David humbled himself before the Lord by falling to his knees.. David also spent alot of his time in deep prayer, worship and praise to the Living God. All these things are very important in showing God you belong to him. David worked.. Moses worked.. Jesus worked.. Jesus being the son of God had no special treatment he fasted 40 days! The Apostles fasted often.. Why? they knew that with sacrifice to GOD yielded Blessings. Get to work!

Solo,

I thought you would like this site!

For the record I hope reincarnation is NOT true as one life in this !@$#@ place is enough for me!

Whle I believe that many will go to hell for their sins, I do NOT believe that the whole "YOU'RE GOING TO HELL IF...." approach works. I don't believe in scaring people into accepting Christ. I would much rather show them the wonderful gifts of accepting Christ.

And I sure wouldn't show my kids that site. Many non-believers hate Christians and turn a deaf ear because of this approach.

Edited to say that I got really mad when I saw the one link titled "Gothic and Vamp FREAKS". There are a lot of kids out there that dress that way because they are hurting inside. They may not have a role model to look up to or anyone to talk to them about Christ. Now, I may get mad and call someone a "freak", but it's not because of how they look or dress. It's mainly because of how they ACT. But I WOULDN'T call a child/teen that.

I agree completely.

It is wrong to, paint a picture of someone if they make a typo, I think this man is doing a good job of warning people.

You have a big heart.

I wouldnt show this to a kid either..... Mainly because in 6th grade a pastor came in our classroom and told us how worthless we were and how the worms will eat us for eternity if we dont believe in his version of Biblegod.

That scared the "hell" out of me and I felt guilty for lots of things after that.

Fear + Guilt = Evangelical Born Again Formula?

You know, for all its faults, and believe me there are a great many (not least of which is that the site seems somewhat heavily weighted on the Hellfire and Damnation side of things, thereby painting that as the perdominant picture of Christianity) the research into Wicca isn't that bad. Obviously it will be presented with a particular angle and there is clearly a specific belief interpretation placed upon some of the 'names' that perhaps gives a skewed perspective. But actually, as far as hellfire and damnation sites go, it is one of the better informed ones.

Still has that unbalanced feel about it though.

Maybe I'm odd. I don't have a problem with people believing I'm destined for hell. I don't have a problem with them sharing what they believe is the route to salvation from the hell they believe I'm destined for. Maybe over the years of immersing myself in dialogue with Christians I have become de-sensitised to a large extent. People can believe what they want to as long as it doesn't involve causing physical or psychological harm of any kind to another. No doubt some would say 'Ah, but what of the spiritual harm?' To which I would have to answer 'Prove it exists in the given context'.

You must be enlightened then, because it stills gets to me that people believe they can lump everybody up on the wagon train to hell that differs from their worldview.

cern hell should be talked about, Jesus talked about it, so we talk about it.
And Soma you know that I love you brother, but that pastor didn't scare you enough, so he did a poor job :o :D LOL

I'd be interested to see where you came to the conclusion that I was suggesting Christians shouldn't talk about it. If you read my message again you will see that I spoke of a lack of balance. If the message to non- Christians is solely of hell, if it is solely a message to frighten, then it is easily dismissed as the ranting beliefs of someone scared of the boogeyman under the bed. If, however, it is accompanied with the message of the love of God, not simply a love expressed by providing a means to escape the 'firey pits of hell', but the love of a creator who longs for a relationship with his creation.... well then there might be balance and the message may be listened to. Whether it is accepted as anything more than someone elses beliefs is another matter. But Christian scripture is pretty clear that not everyone will find 'God'. Fear alone is a poor motivator. Sure, it gets results. But it also has the potential to generate resentment. If your personal witness revolves around generating fear then you might consider returning to your scripture to see if there is more to it than fear.

Yeah, scaring people into believing in god is a great way to recruit believers...
