I just want to point out only the Son of God with the "S" being capitalized is Jesus, not angels, but angels are also called sons of God just like man is also called the son of God with a little "s".

Angels have no gender (Matthew 22:30) and are innumerable (Hebrews 12:22). They are incarnate in human form at times (Genesis 18:2-8) for the purpose of ministry, but only incarnate by God and not of themselves.

The rest is explained in post #19.

In Matthew 22:30 it does not say that Angels in heaven have no gender. It says they are not given in marriage. But a couple things to consider is that, 1. they were not in heaven. They had given up their first estate and left their own habitation (Jude 1:6) and the BLB (Strongs) for habitation is G3613 oikētērion which means house or body. Where their spirit dwells. .

Outline of Biblical Usage [?]
  1. a dwelling place, habitation
    1. of the body as a dwelling place for the spirit
Strong’s Definitions [?](Strong’s Definitions Legend)
οἰκητήριον oikētḗrion, oy-kay-tay'-ree-on; neuter of a presumed derivative of G3611 (equivalent to G3612); a residence (literally or figuratively):—habitation, house.../

So they did not have their spiritual Angelic bodys when they left heaven. So any conclusion that they were unable to procreate with human females would only be a speculative notion and not based on scripture.

And if that isn't enough, let me ask you something. If, in the beginning, there was God and His Heavenly Kingdom and Angels, and there was mankind on earth, and 1/3 of the Angels fell with Satan and were cast out of heaven, Then we have the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of satan, and Mankind...then in the Bible, it starts talking about other beings also, not the Nephilim or giants, but demons and evil spirits. They were all over the OT and all over the NT. Jesus did a lot of casting demons out of people.

So the question is, who are these demons? Where did they come from? They don't seem to be the Fallen angels because scripture calls them fallen angels when it speaks about them. So when scripture speaks about demons or evil spirits, where do they fit into the picture?

Yes I know. What does that have to do with all races being created at once and what I said about it? :confused2

I have seen the ads that say they are able to trace our ancestry back to Neanderthal man if you give them a DNA sample. My question, and it is a serious one, is where did they get the Neanderthal DNA to trace it back to?
Every word and name has a definition. That doesn't mean that (in the case of a name) that is what the thing so named IS. When the Bible speaks of Adam it is speaking about the PERSON named Adam. The first and only at that time, man God created. There were no other humans created at that time, other than Eve. They were given the command to populate the earth.
As for Strongs, we are not meant to "take our pick". or that all apply in all situations, as I've seen some people do. We are meant to discern which usage applies to the context. 121 in Strongs "the name of the first man".:)
Gen.5:2
Male and female created He them, and blessed them and CALLED.....THEIR.....NAME....ADAM.
Was Eve's name ADAM.?

Gen.5:2

Was Eve's name ADAM.?
Maybe it was used in both ways, as a name and then as in the case of "their name" in a secondary way. In any case, my point is that it was Adam and Eve who populated the earth. Not them
plus all the other races created at the same time. Otherwise we could not ALL fall through Adam! If you have some thing besides pure speculation to back up your belief that all races were created along with Adam could you tell me what that is?

What makes one a giant is a hereditary pituitary disorder that causes acromegaly or gigantism. The parents can be of average height just like that of dwarfism. We see this in Goliath, 1 Samuel 17:4 and also Og in Deuteronomy 3:11 as they had to build a bed for Og that was 13.5' by 6"

The reference in Matthew 22:30 is comparing men to angels that in the resurrection they will never marry or are given in marriage as they will be like the angels as they have never been married. Angels are spirit form without an anatomy to be able to procreate physically, but the fallen ones can posses a person to do so, but not one who has faith in God and His Son Christ Jesus.

Strong's 32 and 4397 the Greek word angelos and the Hebrew word malak are both masculine nouns translated "angel" meaning a messenger from God. When angels appear in the Bible there are always seen as masculine, Genesis 19:1-22; Judges 13; Matthew 28:3.

Satan and the third that he has drawn with his tail have been cast down to the earth, Isaiah 14:12, as scripture calls angels stars in Judges 5:20; Daniel 8:10; Jude 1:13; Rev 1:20. Even though Satan has been cast down to the earth he still has access to the throne of God to accuse the brethren day and night until the war breaks out in heaven between him and Michael and Satan will have no more access to the throne of God, Rev 12:10. Satan is the ruler of principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places as Satan has a hierarchy of angel/demons in his kingdom here on earth, Ephesians 6:12.

Other angels oppose God under the leadership of Satan like the third (Isaiah 14:12-20) whom like Satan are a created spirit of God that is why God could never destroy them including Satan because a spirit can not die. (Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6; Ephesians 6:12). We often call these types of angels demons for which an everlasting fire is prepared by God for these angels. These angels who oppose God can enter into people causing them to do what ever the angel demands of them like that of what is written in Mark 5:1-20 and Mark 9:17-29.

Genesis 5:1-32 is the genealogy from the time of Adam's son Seth where those who are named being faithful to God are also called the sons of God like all men of faith throughout the generations even up to present day, Genesis 6:2-7; 2 Samuel 7:14; Hosea 1:10; Romans 8:14; Galatians 3:26. Angels are spirit being who have no anatomy, but they can become incarnate only by God for the purpose of His ministry here on earth as He speaks through them like that of what is written in Genesis Chapter 18 and Hebrews 1:1.

Jude was very familiar with the book of Enoch and was influenced by it in thought and what was written. Jude 1:6 and 2 Peter2:4 these angels can not be the same as the principalities and power of darkness which are even now in high places under the direction of Satan, Ephesians 6:12. These are the spirits in prison Jesus went to preach to beneath the earth while His body was still in the tomb, 1 Peter 3:18-20. These angel/spirits/demons have been disobedient before the flood during God's longsuffering as they are the ones who caused the sons of God in Genesis 6:1-3 to become disobedient to God as He said "My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh". It's the same with Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, Jude 1:7 as these demon angels came into the sons of God and caused them to go after strange flesh.

Nephilim is a name given to giants as those of a large height of 6 feet and over like the five listed below and also Og and Goliath.

Rephaim - race of giants Genesis 14:5
Anakim - race of giants Numbers 13:33 descendants of Nephilim
Emim - the proud deserters, terrors, race of giants Genesis 14:5
Zuzim- the evil ones, roaming things Genesis 14:5
Zamzummims - the evil plotters, Deut. 2:20

Male and female did God create as the rib that was taken out of Adam was made of femininity that became Eve. Bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh as we can consider Eve to also be called Adam in this sense, Genesis 2:21-23.

Then did they begin to populate the world through Cain (ungodly line) and Seth (the Godly line) as the generations grew. As the generations grew so did their migration out into the world that have created all the difference races of man from every continent, but yet being of the ancestry of Seth through Adam and Eve.

So demons are just fallen angels to you then.Uh, ok. And what passage(s) led you to that conclusion?

And if the line of Seth was so godly, then how come they got wiped out in the flood and not saved also along with Noah?

Genesis 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Genesis Chapter 5 is the Godly line of Seth beginning with his son Enos through Noah. It mentions nothing about any other sons or daughters but, names all those of the Godly line had both sons and daughters, except maybe Seth as I can only find Enos as being his only child. There has been at least one Godly son out of every generation up to the time of Noah before the flood and then again after the flood beginning with Noah and his Godly line.

Yes, I do believe demon/devils/unclean spirits are names given to fallen angels as angels are spirit form without a physical body. Only God can make an angel incarnate for the purpose of them being His messengers come to earth. Fallen angels can also posse the body of unbelievers, Matthew 12:43-45; Mark 5:1-19; 9:17-29; Acts 19:13-151 Corinthians 10:20, 21; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Peter 2:4; James 2:19 and so many more scriptures that speak of demons and demon possession.

If Satan and these demons are not fallen angels then who are they.

If Satan and these demons are not fallen angels then who are they.

They are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. Except for Satan because he is a fallen angel. As hybrids of fallen angels and human women they are nonredeemable and their spirits bound to wander the earth until the day of the Lord comes.

With scripture being our authority on the subject, let's take a look and see if any provide clues on are demons equivalent to Fallen Angels or are they distinctively different?

Fallen Angels are mentioned quite a bit in scripture and so are demons and unclean spirits. First, let's look at the nature of Angels. In scripture, they always appear in human form. At Sodom & Gomorrah, the resurrection, the ascension, they appeared as men. They spoke with men, they, took men by the hand, they ate with men. Even Paul said to us, be careful entertaining strangers because sometimes they're Angels and you might not know it or be able to tell.

Angels are seriously powerful beings and capable of direct physical combat. Remember the Passover in Egypt? Or the night a single Angel slew 185,000 Assyrian soldiers? (2 Kings 19:34-36). Angels are not to be messed with!

Angels do not marry. But if you notice, they are always referred to in the masculine in scripture. Matt. 22:30 and Mark 12:25 is not referring to their supposed lack of genitalia but is spoken to believers about resurrection day and that we will be as the Angels of Heaven, meaning immortal. Angels are immortal so have no need of procreation or marriage. Only mortals have needs of procreation. But overall, it's pretty easy to see that Angels (whether well behaved or fallen) are some very powerful beings.

But now let's look at Demons and I think that unclean spirits are basically the same thing as demons. I can't recall any OT instances where any demons were cast out of someone, but it was something that Jesus did regularly in His ministry. In Isaiah 61:3 it speaks of a spirit of Heaviness. Is that a fallen Angel? It does not say that it is.
In Mark 1:21-26 Jesus had just gathered some disciples and they went to the synagogue and there was a man with an unclean spirit, which Jesus cast out. It sounds like it was his first miracle here. And there are many other instances of Jesus casting out spirits and demons from people. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it seem to me that demons/unclean spirits seem to be much more benign than fallen angels. The unclean spirits seem to mainly seek embodiment and even begged Jesus to cast them into the herd of swine at least, remember? So they wouldn't have to wander without a body I guess. But they still did when all the pigs died in the river.

I'm seeing quite a difference between demons and fallen angels in scripture here. Can you remember any scriptures where so called demons or unclean spirits did something extraordinary? It seems clear to me that there is a distinction between angels and unclean spirits. ??

I would like for you to understand that I did not jump onto the Angel view, as it is called, overnight. I didn't want to believe it. It sounded too far out there and too, sci-fi for me. SO I started researching it because it sounded so preposterous and I wanted to debunk it, for myself mostly. But the more I researched it with an open mind, there more it made sense to me, because it makes so many other things in scripture which never had made sense to me, make sense...if it were true. If it wasn't true then many other things did not make sense. Like for instance, when God told the Israelites to go kill everyone including women and children and their beasts...why would God do that? That's genocide. But if the corrupted blood line/DNA was the reason then that would make sense to why God would do such a thing.

It's almost like, you must understand the Genesis 6 incident before you will be able to understand the rest of scripture. So I didn't latch on to this belief willy nilly. It took a bit of time. So please don't get angry with me or think I went insane, because I didn't! I understand any hesitancy to believe this story of intermingling and believe that I have enough notes on it to be able to scripturally answer any question about it...I think!

The Sethite view has been thoroughly debunked and we could go through that if you wish.

Cain found a wife in the land of Nod...
Nod?
Who is that?
Hard to believe that all races come from one man...
The man Adam, from whom the Christ seed would be born.
That is why Eve was called the mother of all "living".
Through Christ we have life...

Very recently, it was announced that all human DNA can be traced to a single woman in the vicinity of Zimbabwe.

1Cor.11:10 makes better sense to me now, since I have studied the angels also.

For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head.. BECAUSE OF THE ANGELS...

Notice that Cain was not in the genealogy of Adam.
Gen.5:3-
Abel was murdered, thus no offspring.

John 8:44
Was a murderer from the beginning...

IT may be hard to believe, but it is also hard to believe God spoke everything into existence, that it was blind dark in all the land except in the Israelites houses. It is hard to believe that the Red sea parted, that a child was born of a Virgin, that a man rose to life after three days in the grave. That He ascended in to Heaven.
I think Nod is a place, not a person. How was there a wife there?
You may have noticed that God did not tell us every detail about everything. He told us all we need to know in order to know ABOUT Him, to KNOW Him and for salvation. What you can be sure of, since God has shown us that there is no happenstance or circumstance with Him. No random acts. No deceipt. You can be sure that if He says there was Adam, then Eve, then the rest of us, that is the way it is. If He says we all fell through Adam, then that is how it happened. Otherwise some of us wouldn't even be descended from Adam so how could we fall through him?

Cain already had a wife when he went to the land of Nod. Genesis 4: 16,17

My belief:
That we all existed before this age, spiritually.
Satan rebelled and one third of the angels followed him.
God could had destroyed them then, but loves His children so much, He didn't want them to perish., everyone will be born in the flesh, except Satan and some of his angels, and of course the Arch Angels...
Even God was born in the flesh, to shed blood for remission of sin.
Thus, this earth age, to decide on whom you will follow. No remembrance of former things.
There will be no more rebellion in the here after...
God knew man would fall.
