I just want to point out only the Son of God with the "S" being capitalized is Jesus, not angels, but angels are also called sons of God just like man is also called the son of God with a little "s".
Angels have no gender (Matthew 22:30) and are innumerable (Hebrews 12:22). They are incarnate in human form at times (Genesis 18:2-8) for the purpose of ministry, but only incarnate by God and not of themselves.
The rest is explained in post #19.
In Matthew 22:30 it does not say that Angels in heaven have no gender. It says they are not given in marriage. But a couple things to consider is that, 1. they were not in heaven. They had given up their first estate and left their own habitation (Jude 1:6) and the BLB (Strongs) for habitation is G3613 oikētērion which means house or body. Where their spirit dwells. .
Outline of Biblical Usage [?]
- a dwelling place, habitation
- of the body as a dwelling place for the spirit
οἰκητήριον oikētḗrion, oy-kay-tay'-ree-on; neuter of a presumed derivative of G3611 (equivalent to G3612); a residence (literally or figuratively):—habitation, house.../
So they did not have their spiritual Angelic bodys when they left heaven. So any conclusion that they were unable to procreate with human females would only be a speculative notion and not based on scripture.
And if that isn't enough, let me ask you something. If, in the beginning, there was God and His Heavenly Kingdom and Angels, and there was mankind on earth, and 1/3 of the Angels fell with Satan and were cast out of heaven, Then we have the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of satan, and Mankind...then in the Bible, it starts talking about other beings also, not the Nephilim or giants, but demons and evil spirits. They were all over the OT and all over the NT. Jesus did a lot of casting demons out of people.
So the question is, who are these demons? Where did they come from? They don't seem to be the Fallen angels because scripture calls them fallen angels when it speaks about them. So when scripture speaks about demons or evil spirits, where do they fit into the picture?
