The following are apostates. An apostate is one who has received the light but not life. He knows something of the word of God, but nothing about the God of the word. He then refuses to give even mental assent to the great truths of the Bible.
Mat 7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
