once saved always saved

okay that was simple

Just keeping it real. :salute And welcome to the site. :wave Always glad to see new faces.

It is my belief that scripture does not support the OSAS doctrine. It leaves too many questions left unanswered. A simple understanding of the Word and a little common sense will tell you that OSAS is not feasible.

Well let's put it this way...there ain't no foolin' God. A person who thinks they can get baptized and then run right out and sin as much as they want has another thing comin'! The Lord Himself says: "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'"

That passage is so crystal clear and yet many can't see it.

Why?

the rebuttal to that not mine is that those people that Jesus were talking to you were not saved in the first place

I think it's because in our fallen state humans try to complicate things...but God's word is so simple and to the point that little children grasp it while adults are over analyzing it. That's why Jesus tells us to be as children. Keep it simple sweetheart!

I agree a friend of mine are going back and forth he is in the once saved always saved by grace camp

Scripture says yes.
That's a scary thought if you think about it. I equate it to murdering someone you're in love with. I get nauseous just thinking about purposefully disobeying God and abandoning Him.

Question? If you believe a Christian who has been justified by God as righteous can not lose their salvation is this universalism?

Question 2? What makes your sins forgiven and their sins not?

me too I just don't like the phrase because it's not in the Bible

The topic OSAS, not Universalism. Let's work on that. Universalism is whole other topic.

No not universalism I personally don't believe in the phrase once saved always saved
