What are some good and reliable Christian charities to contribute to or participate in?

Anything where they dont keep a cent for themselves apart from outgoings and its 100% volutary and not an organisation. And that does not mean 1st class tickets and limo rides for the head of that charity to get to locations to present a 20% cheque of the original donation.

Money donated to UMCOR for specific projects goes 100% to those projects. In addition, the UMC sends thousands of people on volunteer missions every year to provide relief and rebuilding after natural disasters. I've been on several missions, and we pay our own expenses.


Another good organization is the Mennonite Central Committee.

We see them everywhere we go, also providing relief.


I think most denominations have such relief committees.
