A California court ruled last week that ChristianMingle and it’s affiliate faith-based dating websites must allow LGBT singles to search and be matched with people of the same gender.
The ruling comes at the end of a 2.5 year legal battle after two gay men noticed in 2013 that new members to the popular dating site, which boasts over 15 million users, could only search for dates of the opposite sex.

This is one more recent example of "Shoving Homosexuality" down the throats of Christians using the Courts as the BOOT.
 
It's not like there's no one else that does that. There seems to be many dating sites. I don't think the court should force this on the dating site any more then it should force standardizing personality test algorithms on any dating site. There are other dating sites to go to and if a person is unhappy with one service they can move on regardless of the reason.

God does love everyone, but I think there's a point where the courts don't need to get involved. Even if we agree with the conclusions of the courts.

Only repentant gay people are to be accepted by the church. Just like repentant drunks, and fornicators, and adulterers, and thieves, and drug addicts, etc. That doesn't mean they can't and aren't allow to struggle with their old lives, it means they have renounced them and are engaged in spiritual battle against those things.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I see nothing wrong with homosexuality period.

Like it or not, your opinion doesn't change the plain words of scripture:

9Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NASB)

If you do not agree with that then you simply do not want to be a Christian. In fact, you can not be. You will be changing Christianity into another religion. A religion that can not save.

And we need to drop it there because further discussion will cause the thread to be closed, if I'm not mistaken.

GAY people are accepted in the "church" ??????????
Gay sex isnt accepted by God or the real "church".
Once Gay people solve their immoral and depraved lifestyle, everything is perfect.

God loves people enough to tell them not to sin .. to tell them unrepentant sin leads to hell.

I never knew that.

I have never been able to find that in my bible, as I was discussing this topic with my friends and family.

Could please share that scripture with me, where God accepts homosexuality as a lifestyle choice.

But it's not about what any of us believe though, or even what is tolerated by the church or certain churches. Not even about what business owners believe. It's about if the courts should step in.

If this was an issue about transportation and there were only a few methods of getting in and out of a city, then yeah the courts have a bit more wiggle room to say you must serve these people as anyone else, or it's a form of oppression. But this isn't a bus service where we serve white first and if there is room blacks also. This is a service that I think there are many others who provide the same kind of service. I don't think there's any reason for the courts to get involved when a person can simply say they don't like the service and go elsewhere. Even businessmen have their personal consciences they try to live up to, and if they choose to run their business based on their personal convictions, then as long as it doesn't hurt anyone I don't think the court should be involved.
 
This whole thing is simular in subject as when a wedding cake business refused to serve a homosexual wedding. If that was wrong then so is the dating site wrong to not serve homosexuals. But honestly I side with the bakery that refused service. That's their call for who they agree to serve, and they don't own a monopoly on making cakes. If no one served homosexuals then I think the courts can get involved and make their everyone must follow the rules to be fair proclamation. Or if those who served homosexuals were a substandard quality then there is room for debate.

As of now as far as courts go, there is freedom of religion and to freely practice religion, and there is equal human rights. As long as one is not interfering with the other, then both the freedom for religion and people's equality can be protected. We don't need to make the courts choose one and harm the other.
 
And I'd just like to say one more think: gay people do not just wake up and decide to be gay. In the same way black people don't decide to be black. Does God hate black people? No. So why would he hate gay people?

So bisexuality isn't a choice. I beg to differ.A dispositon to sin doesn't mean I have to act.
