Without scripture I can't believe our spirit stands and talks to the Lord in heaven before we are born. And I do not believe we choose who our parents would be as I would have picked my mom, but not my dad.
Why not? Why couldn't our spirit stand and speak with God before we were born?
Do we have the same spirit of God within us now as we did before we were "born". but had already been "predestined" into a life for our Lord?
The Holy Spirit, bears Witness with our spirit...right or not?
Yes. so is the spirit that same spirit of life that God foreknew that you speak of? I tink it would have to be.
And if the Hoy Spirit can bear Witness to our spirit, then our spirit it already a cognizant being. Our seed of life was conscious in Heaven and speaking with God Himself before we got born.
Is a seed a fruit tree? No of course not. It must be planted and it must grow. But is the seed alive as a seed?
You bet it is. The entire universe is conscious and signgs praises unto God the Creator. If this witness was not made then the very stones would cry out.
So...yeah. It isn't much of a stretch to see that, we were alive before. We did talk to Him. Our spirit. The very first seed of the life that we would become and are predestined to be in our completion! We are not finished until the great transformation that you know is coming. And we were alive in Heaven before we were born too.
There have been times when I thought, I didn't ask for this...
But how would I really know that for sure? Maybe the risk or difficulty level was such to carry such high rewards with it that perhaps I thought it would be worht it? It has not been given me to remember if that is so, but it sure seems likely. Considering that scripture states that...it is beyond our comprehension as an earth man, to grasp the fullness of our upcoming rewards.
So it is possible that you thought it would be worth it to you to do the scenario which has your dad in it.
Why is so far fetched to think that we lived in Heaven before we were born? You haven't exactly posted any scripture which supports the notion that our very first beginning was in our earth Mother's womb.
Not to my satisfactiion at least. Not in the face of many other scriptures in the Word. I can't see it.
