Noah and Mary find favor with God and prepare an ark of salvation.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Lk 1:30 Mary Found favor with God.

Noah prepares the ark of salvation:

Gen 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Mary prepares the ark of eternal salvation:

Lk 2:30 Jesus Christ is our salvation.

Matt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Sealed by God in the ark of salvation: Eph 1:13

Sealed by God eph 1:13 sealed by God (ez 36:25-27) in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!

(Ark of Noah a type of the church, members of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church “the ark of salvation” none are saved!)

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church “the ark of salvation” by God thru baptism!

All these blessings from God because of Mary most holy!
Some nice poetic parallels between Noah and Mary but the theological extrapolation beyond this to "All these blessings from God because of Mary the most holy" has no real basis in the scriptures.

Mary in Context
  • Mary is chosen by God to carry Jesus because of her faith (Luke 1:30) and to also fulfill old testament scriptures (Isaiah 7:14).
  • Elizabeth's joy after being filled with the Holy Spirit and her response (Luke 39-45) is true , Mary has been blessed but because of what God chose to do through her. This verse has nothing to do with Mary believing on our behalf, please quote the verse in context.
  • We next see Mary appear in Luke when Jesus as a boy at the temple (Luke 2: 41-51) in her role as an earthly mother with earthly concerns and also with no real understanding of Jesus' response:
48 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”
49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”[f] 50 But they did not understand what he was saying to them.
  • Jesus' family question his sanity in Mark 3 :20-21. Is it fair to assume Mary would be included as one questioning his sanity?
  • Mary appears in the wedding at Cana (John 2: 1-11) and exchange between her and Jesus in verse 3 & 4 seems to show some tension between mother & son.
  • Mary is next mentioned in the Gospel towards the end of John's Gospel at the crucifixion (John 19: 25-27) where Jesus entrusts her to John's care. This may have been a bit unusual in first century Jewish culture as blood family would normally take that responsibility. It may be because Jesus's own brothers may not have believed in him (John 7:5)
  • Mary is mentioned again in Acts 1:14 as being with the disciples in the "room where they were staying". Interesting to note Jesus' brothers are now here, has his resurrection brought them to faith? (see above point).
Apart from finding favour with God because of her faith and being chosen to fulfill scriptures as a virgin, and the descriptive accounts of Jesus birth in Matthew & Luke, Mary receives little mention in NT scriptures beyond her role as his earthly mother.

Mary's Intercession (or lack of)

The idea of Mary interceding implies something active occuring between us as believers and God as part of our salvation. There is no support in NT scriptures for this concept.
  • No one comes to God but through Jesus. Jesus was very emphatic about this in John14:6 and the writer of John's Gospel makes it clear earlier in John 3:16.
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

  • Jesus is our intercessor, one sacrifice for all. As Paul puts it in Romans 8:34:
34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us
or the writer of Hebrews in 7: 25:
25 Therefore he is able to save completely[c] those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
  • The Holy Spirit also intercedes in prayer. Romans 8:26-27:
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

At no point in the New Testament do Paul, Peter, James, John, Jude etc mention Mary at all. We are never told that Mary intercedes on our behalf nor are we told to pray to, or through Mary either. I cannot understand how you can ascribe some supernatural powers/role to Mary that have no Biblical basis.

Great verse!!
16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (NIV)
How grace and truth come the Jesus Christ, fantastic!!

Nothing about Mary though, which really underlines my earlier point.

Is Mary the spiritual mother of all Christians?
Ok, is the idea of a spiritual mother even have any foundation in the Bible?

I have been a Christian for 30 years. We have all we need spiritually through God, the Father, Son & Spirit.

To suggest we somehow need something extra that isn't mentioned in the Bible, an add-on if you like, takes away from what God does for us. Effectively you are saying to God "thanks but what you offer isn't enough".

As Paul wrote in Phillipians 4:19:
19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (NIV)

That’s right Mary most holy our mother and the mother of our salvation. Thanks

A good tree!

Biblical principle:

Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

The fruit of the tree of Mary is our salvation! Matt 1:21 Lk 2:30 Jesus is our salvation! This reflects the immaculate conception of Mary and the miraculous conception of Jesus!
Lk 1:30 Mary found our salvation!
Lk 1:38 consented to our salvation!

A good tree (immaculate conception) Lk 1:49 God has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes!

Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

A sinner would be an evil tree with evil fruit, but the fruit of Mary is salvation!

Mary brings in the good fruits of our redemption and salvation!

So Mary CANNOT be a sinner or a bad tree!

Mary’s throne is the throne of divine grace! Heb 4:16

Ark of the new covenant!
The dwelling place of God!
God dwelt in Mary’s womb for 9 months, remember the ark was incorruptible wood covered with pure gold signifying Mary’s immaculate purity!
read exodus or any place in the Old Testament where something came into contact with God or was consecrated to the service of God it had to be pure and Holy!
And cannot be used for any common purpose!
In the ark was the word of God!
In Mary the new ark is the living Word!
In the ark was the mana!
In Mary was the bread come down from heaven! Jn 6
Bethlehem means house of bread!

Lk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, (Isa 7:14) and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Jn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Old Testament type or example provided by God for our instruction!

Queen Esther

Queen Esther fair: est 2:7
Mary all fair: gen3:15 Song of Solomon 4:12 Lk 1:28 rev 12:1

And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; est 2:17
Song of S. 4:2 love of God for Mary!
And the angel entered to her, and said, Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed be thou among women.
Lk 1:28 also Lk 1:30 1:42 1:45 1:48
Mary obtained grace and favor: Lk 1:28
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Esther merits the graces of the king for the people. Est
Mary merits the graces we need but don’t deserve. Lk 1:30
Mother is the mother of our savior and our salvation! Lk 2:30 matt 1:21

They prayed to Esther to intercede for them before the king. As Mary intercedes for Christians before God.

Queen Esther found favor with the king: est 2:17
Mary found favor with God: Lk 1:30

Queen Esther saves her people interceding with the king: est 8:17
Mary provides the savior of the world!
Lk 2:10-11

Queen Esther receives half the kingdom!
Mary receives half the kingdom, Christ retains the kingdom of justice as just judge and Mary is the queen of grace & mercy! Hence the throne of grace is Mary’s throne! Heb 4:16
Depicted in genesis as the greater light that rules the day (those living in God’s will) and the lesser light that governs the night (those living in sin) Mary the mother of mercy and refuge of sinners!
Notice the sun is the source of all good and moon only reflects this goodness!
She directs all to Her divine son! Jn 2:5

Mary is created by God thru the immaculate conception worthy to receive grace, and the miraculous conception of the Holy Spirit, and the savior and our salvation!

The new covenant Spiritual family of God by supernatural grace in union with Christ the only mediator and communion with God and His saints!

It is not possible to have Jesus Christ as your Bother and not have Mary most holy as your Mother!

Born again new birth from Mary our new spiritual mother, those who are “in Christ” are a new creation. And we were in Christ who was in Mary for nine months and Mary gave birth to Christ and us Her spiritual children. Lk 1:30, Lk 1:38, Jn 19:36-38, rev 12:17

Supernatural mother of the new covenant church by the grace of baptismal regeneration in Jesus Christ:

A marvelous thing!
A miraculous action!

Mother of our salvation:
Found our salvation Lk 1:30
Consented to our salvation Lk 1:38

Immaculate conception of Mary:
“Pure, sinless, consecrated to God alone” Gen 3:15 enmity total war between satan & Mary, none of his wicked works are found in Her.
Lk 1:28 full of grace, Lord is with Her, blessed. Lk 1:49 things plural

Of course He was born of a woman, that much is explicit in the the Bible both through Isaiah and in Matthew & Luke to fulfill what was written.

While she was physically Jesus' mother here on earth and found favour in God as a woman of faith, nothing more.

My point earlier was that while Mary found favour with God and was chosen by God as a vehicle for his birth, there is zero support in the NT for the idea of a spiritual mother and for the role and attributes you ascribe.

With all due respect, rather than reading the scriptures to see what they say, you seem take a position and try to stitch togther verses (many out of context) to try support your supposition. This has been pointed out to you before in these forums.

I am just going to address the Good Tree part of your post.

Matthew 7: 15. Jesus talks about false teachers and the fruits of their false teaching warning thse there (and us) to be aware & also discerning about who we listen to/follow.

Good trees are good trees but there is never any indication here that they are perfect. We, along with any teachers that come our way such as pastors & priests etc are all sinners. So to say that a Good Tree is not a sinner again is incorrect and is even not possible. Only one has been with out sin and that is our Lord Jesus.

Luke 1:30: Mary found our salvation? Mary was chosen by God because of her faith and finding favour in God. It was all God's work through Mary, nothing more.

You cannot pluck one verse from a discourse on false teachers and then stitch it to Luke 1:30 -38 and then say that Mary did not sin!!

Mary's throne?? Really? Again back to the fact that in all the theological cases mounted for salvation through Christ alone in the NT Mary is never mentioned.

The writer of Hebrews writes a huge treatise to Jewish believers on the absolute supremacy & sufficiency of Jesus as revealer and mediator of God's grace. Hebrews 4:14-5:10 is about Jesus being our High Priest and yet you pluck v16 out of this and use it way out of context ascribing this throne to Mary!!

Polite Suggestion: Buy yourself an NIV Study Bible and read the Bible on its own terms. Read the introductions to each book, follow the huge numer of foot notes and cross references rather than misquoting verses out of context to support non-biblical propositions.

It is not possible to have Jesus Christ as your Bother and not have Mary most holy as your Mother!

Mother of our salvation:
Found our salvation Lk 1:30
Consented to our salvation Lk 1:38

Also cos Jesus Christ gave Her to us to be our spiritual mother: Jn 19:26-27

Also cos Jesus is our brother:
Rom 8:29 …that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
We are His many brethren; and bothers who have the same mother.

Ephesians 6:2
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

Lk 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

But he that angereth his mother is cursed: of God. Eccl. 3:18

Jesus is making Mary spiritual mother to all disciples! And all disciples take Her into thier home, And if the apostle John needs a spiritual mother so do we!

What is the family of God without a mother? The mother is the heart of the family! Jesus said I will not leave you orphans! Jn 14:18 He gave Mary to be the mother of one disciple then He does so for all disciples!

As eve was the mother of all the living in the first creation, gen 3:20 so Mary is the mother of all those who live in Christ and the new creation! Behold, I make all things new!

Rev 12:17 our spiritual mother!

Rachel is spiritual mother of Israel!
A type of Mary as spiritual mother of Christians!

The 12 sons of Jacob have 4 biological mothers, but Rachel is the spiritual mother of all Israel!

Matt 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are no more.

And our tender mother is immaculate purity!

Rev 12:1 clothed with the sun immaculate purity.

Mother of God: Lk 1:43

Assumption of Mary “body & soul” into heaven. Rev 12:1

No creature has ever had a biological family relationship with God except Mary:

And She has three:

Daughter of the eternal Father.
Mother of the Son of God.
Spouse of the Holy Spirit.

The living ark of the new covenant!
The spiritual mother of those living in Christ!

Then who’s throne do you think it is? Thanks

Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ, his entire person, just as your mother is not only the mother of your body.

Let’s see this logic, out of context it’s “catholic” but in context it’s “Protestant”? Really

I am just going to address the first part of your post on the good tree

A biblical principal is applied equally to all things
“He who is faithful in little matters is faithful in great matters” does not have to mean money
As it is God's Grace that is at the foundation of our salvation it can only be his.
but God’s throne is the great white throne and is described in revelation very differently from the throne of grace, care to try again?
Thanks

He also said the whole need not a physician,

Mary:my Lord and my savior.

If Jesus wasn't her savior as she didn't need him for her soul.she wasn't lost or a sinner ,why would she say that ?
