What was your first love like? What happened?I do agree that you never do forget your first love.

I think what I thought was my first love was when I was 16.I was very naive and immature. He was the captain of the football team and a BIG guy.None of the other guys would come near me when he was by my side.I thought it was love. But I am thinking it was maybe a crush or infatuation. But you could not tell me that at the time.He was just an immature as I was. After a couple of years my feeling for him just wore off.
I saw him 10 years later.I was with my husband and I was about 7 months pregnant with my daughter. We were at a restaurant and waiting in the lounge for our table. He was dancing on the dance floor with his wife.We instantly glanced at each other. He turned white as a ghost and went and sat down.

a bunch of loneliness and male hormones that drove that mistake. wow im glad it died. it might have made it to a marriage but then a divorce.

mine was pretty beautiful Ill never forget it...it was like its own movie.I was always a pretty precocious child so I was 9 when I had my first love,he was 9 too and the same way as me it was strange. It was right after my parents divorce was final and my dad moved us kids back into the trailor park with him .There was a new kid on my bus that year his name was casey and we had an instant connection. He would walk all the way from his house to my trailor park .He had this beautiful platinum blonde hair .I thought he looked like an angel. That was such a great year we would walk the dog ,play at the park our favorite thing was when he pushed me on the swings or sit in the middle of the merry go round with our eyes closed just breathing and feeling that cool feeling of the whoosh of air lol.We talked about everything.By the end of the school year we found out we both were about to move and never see each other again we were very sad.We had always held hands but on that very last day Ill never forget it we were both crying and we kissed and hugged each other so tight.Im so glad I got to know that kind of love ya know so pure later on when I would have boyfriends that were crappy it lasted for a very short time i think because i knew better then to hold onto something like that.

Wow, Kathi. I hadn't thought about that drop dead gorgeous, musically talented, extremely intelligent, guy in a long....time.

Mine was 7 years ago and lasted about 5 seconds.

Anyone else believe in soulmates?
