• Hi questdriven. Hope the vacation is going well, and the preparations that you guys are making for the family wedding, etc. On the forums it's been quite busy; some good posts about the faith principle; some argument about proving God's creation (kind of futile, outside the Bible); more on ear piercing (ty for your recent post) and also this tread on tats has been active: http://www.christianforums.net/showthread.php?t=44306&page=19 although it might not be quite relevant to you, at least not until you're a bit older, or in different circumstances, or whatever. It's been a bit cooler here; but we may be heading for NY/Penn. soon. Blessings.
Sounds good; up here north of Lake Ontario this week has been cooler than last week; it was nearly 40C last week, which is 112F. Hope you guys in Penn. are cool enough, anyway. Blessings.
Hi there; so how do you rate the vacation so far? (My wife and I at the moment have folk on vacation staying with us; never a dull moment.) There have been some interesting thread postings recently. Blessings.
Nope, nothing at all!
Sometimes, anyway, like if daughter and aunt and others are all in pants, some women would just wear the same, but we are all different and it would be a boring world if we were not all different. Blessings.
Oh we might be going to Penn. in August. Not finalized the trip yet. Glad the church was a good experience (not too vague; not too extreme, happy medium). I guess they didn't harrass with stringent dress codes, either; most places don't. Sounds like it wasn't KJVO, either. I guess you're not completely on your own, so probably wouldn't have quite the chance to go just where you want, stores, tat parlor for private reseach, etc. When you're home again you'll get back into a routine, I'm sure, but sounds anyway like you're having a good, long vacation! Blessings.
Hi there, so how has your vacation been going? maybe you're home again? so did you manage to attend any good church services, make any new friends, figure job opportunities, etc? Blessings.
Wow, sounds like some teeny place in the Caribbean or Central America... have a great time! :) Blessings.
Hi; I'll be heading out before too long. Hope you have a blessed day in church. (I'm expecting to go to ours, though my wife has a cold and might not make it.) Re. the cultural stuff, it's very interesting but, as we have both implied, I think, it's unlikely that all Christians will have the same preferences when it comes to music, or art, or jewelry, or tattoos or careers, or whatever. Have a nice night. Blessings.
Oh okay; it's not just me then! I just posted on the tatt thread, wondering if it would even load, because it has a few pages; but it did. Blessings.
(Oops, apologies, didn't realize there was multiple posting; technical problems. Blessings.)
Hi questdriven: Sorry; I like others on the site am having technical problems; I know Stovebolts is beavering away valiantly, trying to resolve them! I think you kindly replied to my last two heavy metal posts, but your replies won't load (at least, on my screen). Blessings.

My last post to you was this: 'PS: Thinking more now, in some heavy metal there is a fulness and a depth that reminds me of J S Bach-style counterpoint, ostensibly very 'classical'. I remember how when I was younger than you are now, J S Bach kind of grew on me (and some of his work is combined with Scripture lyrics).

(Thanks for your patience, questdriven , in bearing with these reflections of mine, because it reminds me a bit of my own sense of musical development years ago.)
Blessings.'

Replied to posts about music and Christian jewelry. Out for a while; back later; blessings.
