My step son and I are at the Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit watching the Red Wings game. It's Awesome!

The Hurricanes? You mean the Golden Knights get them tomorrow afternoon on a back to back. That is sweet. Go Knights! Oh, and you just reminded me, I griped at our companies meeting yesterday, and was promptly sent a link so I can request tickets to our suite at T-Mobile. I have fell in love with hockey all over again this season. As a native from Buffalo, it never left much hope.

We lost 3 to 1, but it was great! It was our first time at the new arena. Had a great time.

I'm a tech guy too! I did all of the building automation and controls at our new arena. I know the bowels of it inside and out. I've been to concerts and shows, I even hosted the guests in our corporate suite for a USA Basketball game (who would of have ever thought a twelve pack of beer, a few nacho's and chicken fingers could cost some one a couple thousand dollars; but no worries, it was all expensed). But I have not been to a hockey game yet. Who would have ever dreamed that an expansion team would rise to be one of the best teams in the league. I can't take any credit for our home ice advantage, and I can't help but feel the excitement grow; but I can't even fathom how special it will be, if the Golden Knights go on to rise from nowhere and hoist the cup in my house.

That's awesome! Detroit held the glory for many years! Lots of excitement everywhere! I hope your town gets to experience that too!

Oh my lord, this is something else to be sure. It's unbelievable, but I have to believe destiny is on our side. Pacific title in their first year. A first round sweep of the LA Kings. WOW!

I was out at the arena last week to do some work and had the crew at T-Mobile laughing. One guy was a life long Kings fan, and he didn't like what was happening at all. But this is my team now, and this is my house. But all this excitement is a little overwhelming: After all, I'm from Buffalo!

GO KNIGHTS!!!!!
