Sin, Sickness, and the Medical System

The bronze snake became an idol and had to be destroyed. It was a type of Christ. You will notice God did not take away the fiery serpents, but provided healing. Also note that only those with faith and obedience to look at the bronze serpent alone were healed.

Why Christians Fail to Receive Healing

If you believe what WOF believes about the atonement in #4 I have nothing more to say to you.

Luke the physician and Divine Healing

You can start with Romans 10:9-10, then Acts 2:4 and Acts 19:5 in either order. Having Acts 2:4 makes Jude 20 possible. Then Romans 12:1 so Romans 12:2 is possible. Along the way keep doing this: Romans 10:17.

    Sin, Sickness, and Job

I was sure I made that and more clear in the OP. Did you miss the point that Job did trust God ALONE by grace through faith for healing and restoration and was healed, restored, and given more authority in God's Kingdom?

Luke the physician and Divine Healing

We go to the Physician we live closest to. So should everyone. This really is not rocket science just the simple gospel and normal Christianity.

Why Christians Fail to Receive Healing

We have the same battle with a family member. We are winning. Have you cast out any spirits of infirmity/MS because often that is necessary. Are you doing spiritual warfare on her behalf? Is she in the word constantly? What does she say about her condition? Does she believe 1 John 5:14-15? Does...

Why Christians Fail to Receive Healing

No, I am not now nor have I ever been WOF. Most of them are in heresy on the atonement of Christ.

Jesus is our Physician so the medical system is not necessary.

Repentance is a gift. Acts 5:1-11 for lying; It is quite possible here 1 Corinthians 5:4-5; Hebrews 12:11-17; Matthew 12:31-32, Hebrews 6:4-6. If there is sin unrepented of God does not even hear a believer's prayer except for a prayer of repentance: Mark 11:25-26, Psalm 66:18. A BELIEVER in...

Luke the physician and Divine Healing

If you are familiar with the scientific method the "practice" of medicine is no where near true science. Even the drug testing and the use of 'tested' drugs is a travesty of true science. I will say again what any competent medical professional knows, ALL drugs are POISON and harm the body in...

Luke the physician and Divine Healing

You are free to believe anything you wish. It seems Deborah13 has a good point. It MUST have been referring to the Spiritual gift of divine healing because the Holy Spirit would not refer to sorcerers as "beloved". Scripture does not contradict what Jesus said, did, and told His disciples to do.

Luke the physician and Divine Healing

Jesus never told anyone anything that contradicted what He Himself taught, demonstrated, and told His disciple to do which is ALWAYS divine healing in both OT and NT. Please give scripture that I have "spun" anything.

Yes, in my view. We have prayed for 3 people who were healed by Jesus of terminal cancer to the amazement of their doctors. FYI the cure rate for cancer since "war" on it was declared by President Nixon in '71 is the same now as it was then. It seems there is some evidence that the same...

Not at all. They should and will go to the physician they live closest to which is what we do. Our son was and is free to go to any physician he wishes as is everyone else.
