    Why did God allow polygamy

In a way it's probably a good back up system. That way if one wife goes bad you always have a spare so it's no big deal.

    Would You Accept

If I was married, and my wife was in prison,,,,,,,,,,, You know, I can't say what I'd do. Conjugal visits would take care of eros, but what about all the other parts of love? Not to mention companionship. I do know a guy that did 10 years, and his wife stayed faithful. I give her a lot of...

Woman Who Drowned In Wedding Dress

I know this has to be photoshopped, but the image is kind of disturbing. How is this something a bride would look at and say "Wow that's so cool".

Actually her behavior is called "Conspicuous Consumption" a term coined by Thorstein Veblen in his book "The Theory of the Leisure Class". Basically they are wasteful on purpose in order to prove that they have enough money to be wasteful. To them it's like a badge of honor.

    Ku Klux Klan Monument

Lets not forget that the Civil War wasn't really started over slavery. Abolishing slavery was a strategic political move made during the war. Start of The Civil War - April 12th 1861 Emancipation Proclamation - January 1st 1863 The Civil war had a lot more to do with "States Rights" and...

I am seeking a born again husband

Boy do I ever have horror stories about some of the "Christian" women I have met online. Not that they are any worse than the rest. But I kinda expected the Christian dating pool to be a little better. I'm starting to think that when I see "Christian" on a dating site, that it is code that...

    Is watching TV a sin?

I don't know if I would call watching TV sinful, but boy is it hard to find much to watch that doesn't glorify sin. Personally I don't watch much TV.

    In the 70's

I'm not saying the gays weren't sinning, but they were not ostracized by the fellowship the way it seems like they are today. There really is too much finger pointing going on in the churches today. Church seemed to be a much more peaceful place then. And there were none of those big...

    In the 70's

The churches didn't seem to be so political back in the 70's. And there didn't seem to be all the "us verses them" attitudes then. Back then there were gay Christians but they were kinda "don't ask don't tell", and believe it or not, there were even Christians who were Democrats.

    Interracial Marrage

So, if it's racist to have a race preference when selecting a mate, would it be sexist to have a gender preference when selecting a mate?
