    When God doesn't convict us

I agree. If you repent, then go back to the sin and repent again that's not repenting.

    IS HELL FOREVER?

A place of torment does exist in the Bible, but the rest of the Bible describes Gehenna has the place of torment, not Hades. This tells me something is up with the parable thing, some deeper meaning type thing.

    When God doesn't convict us

So you believe if a christian is having a really hard time repenting of a sin and they're truly crying out to God, God will hear them?

Do you have a competitive personality?

I don't like competition anymore. I don't like what it does to people. God thus put a different spirit in me. Football, blah...... i'm not looking to impress man anymore. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

    When God doesn't convict us

Another question, do you believe John 9:31 also speaks of believers who willfully sin. Or does God break through the believers hard heart.

    When God doesn't convict us

I'm confused, so the sinners in John 9:31 were unbelievers or believers.

    When God doesn't convict us

Do you have scripture that says God does not hear the prayer of an unbeliever unless it is of salvation. That's very interesting.

    When God doesn't convict us

You make some good points, I do have a good question however. How does the holy spirit work in a nonbeliever without them knowing it. The holy spirit hasn't indwelled them yet, so how does the holy spirit work in them without indwelling them yet.

    When God doesn't convict us

I think I got my words mixed up. Let me try this again. He convicts nonbelievers of sin, and convicts believers of righteousness. Am I close.

    When God doesn't convict us

Doesn't the holy spirit convict believers of sin?

    When God doesn't convict us

What is God saying to us when he doesn't convict us, is that a good sign or a bad sign? When God is silent, what does that mean. What does it look like when God doesn't convict us, is there any stories in the Bible. Believers and nonbelievers alike.

The difference in the rapture and the second coming

Yup, and I'm thinking the rapture is only minutes apart from the first resurrection. I wish the bible was clear on that, sigh :sad. 1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead...

    IS HELL FOREVER?

Kathi Being that Hades is used as a place of torment only once in the Bible and that fact being in Luke 16:19-31 is huge. That says a lot to me.

    IS HELL FOREVER?

Unless you can prove thee wrong.
