Strengthening families through biblical principles.
Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Technology can let us live longer and more comfortable lives. It can teach us how to help others. It can reduce suffering and starvation. But it can't make us more moral. That's what God sent a Savior to do.We may live longer ,but as a race we certainly aren't any more moral.
I have my love of the old days but I also know my parents protected me
John's Walsh ,he lived in Vero ,his sons head was found a few miles south of where I live .
Then there is the fhp neighbor who was found guilty of raping and murdering randomn motorists.
The fhp officer killed at the zippy mart on ranch road .also close to where I live .
I just don't hold science as this cure all as in sci Fi
You've confused science with technology. Scientific ethics relate to honesty and ethical treatment of people or animals during investigations. It's been a tremendous benefit. The problem is it's supposed to be guided by ethics and it's not.
Yeah, immunizations and better medical care greatly improved the chances of a kid growing to adulthood. In AD 1000, most of them did not.Up to the early 40s it wasn't uncommon to have kids ,infants die.
Look up darpa and why NASA and they use an old afb and are part of the military .You've confused science with technology. Scientific ethics relate to honesty and ethical treatment of people or animals during investigations.
Technology is applied science and where most of the bad stuff happens, along with a great deal of good stuff.
John t O'Rourke ,grandpa.1907 to 1991Yeah, immunizations and better medical care greatly improved the chances of a kid growing to adulthood. In AD 1000, most of them did not.
Why does this even matter? See, this is the problem with science. Instead of coming up with practical solutions to things, they would rather play with mice all day.As I suspected, in mice as in humans, you only get maternal mitochondria. Dads provide no mitochondria. So no, two male mice could not produce a viable embryo, even with much technological fiddling.
For one thing, it means you can't get viable offspring from two males, even with a lot of technical effort. No mitochondria. And you can't even think a thought without mitochondria. Why does this even matter?
It tends to throw wrenches into so many dearly held beliefs. Sorry about that.See, this is the problem with science.
Like those screwworm flies. And yet snooping around to find out about the sex life of screwworm flies saved the cattle industry in many states. There's a moral there for anyone who bothers to think about it for a bit. Give it a try?Instead of coming up with practical solutions to things, they would rather play with mice all day.
Actually, bats aren't scientists. Thought you knew. They did use what they learned from the viruses infecting bats to develop a vaccine that saved millions of lives, however. When they're not molesting mice, they're creating super viruses.
People were actually grateful for the vaccines. Thought it was a good idea, saving lives. People can be funny that way.And they get away with it. No one's arrested.
Actually, that's entirely wrong. Scientists who fake data or break ethical standards for experimentation usually lose their careers. It's one of the few human activities where such breaches are pretty much guaranteed to ruin one's career. No one is held accountable.
Maybe meteorologists in some other nations aren't as good as the ones here. I notice that the reports I get are very dependable. But scientists are constantly doing research that proves they were wrong. They actively look to prove the null hypothesis, because that leads to the truth.Scientists are like meteorologists. They get it wrong and it's like, ah, what the hell can you do?
We didn't need to smelt iron or make steam engines, either. But they were useful, much as many technologies developed for space exploration were useful. We didn't need to explore space .all that was a cold war competition.
It was a simpler thought. If they could build a system to put a satellite into orbit, they could build an ICBM. And that's true.If Russia got to space first and mastered it( barbarian is old enough to remember Sputnik ) then the fear was they could also attack from space.russia probably thought the same .
Sure, but nobody was grateful for the virus. Except big pharma. They were VERY happy. It was so successful that it wouldn't surprise me if we get a sequel to covid sooner rather than later. Recurring revenue streams are all the rage these days. For one thing, it means you can't get viable offspring from two males, even with a lot of technical effort. No mitochondria. One famous inventor remarked that he wasn't discouraged after failing X hundred times to make a useful light bulb. "I learned X hundred ways not to make a light bulb."
Sometimes science is that way. A lot of human activity is like that. If you look at any technology we use, you'll find it was possible because of many, many mistakes that showed the way to the right way.
Anthrax ,well known to be useful for biological attacks but no longer occuring naturallky.Sure, but nobody was grateful for the virus. Except big pharma. They were VERY happy. It was so successful that it wouldn't surprise me if we get a sequel to covid sooner rather than later. Recurring revenue streams are all the rage these days.
They were, however, grateful that we have the technology to produce effective vaccines.Sure, but nobody was grateful for the virus.
Tell us what percentage of income of 'big pharma' comes from vaccines. It appears that you don't know.Except big pharma.
Now, it's obvious that you don't know. About 20% of Pfizer's income is from vaccines, for example. They were VERY happy.
Influenza was like that, too. Viruses, after pandemics, usually become endemic and never go away completely. It's not some evil right-wing conspiracy by greedy businessmen. It's just the way viruses work.It was so successful that it wouldn't surprise me if we get a sequel to covid sooner rather than later.
Anthrax is still around in the wild, but it's much less common than it once was. Outbreaks are rapidly addressed and so it's not something we see normally. But wild hoofed mammals remain a reservoir of infection.Anthrax ,well known to be useful for biological attacks but no longer occuring naturallky.
Not many people know that. It's a rare case where something intended for an evil purpose, was turned to a benefit.Oddly chemotherapy came from mustard gas and man decided to modify it to cure cancer .
The jet engine . microwave..Anthrax is still around in the wild, but it's much less common than it once was. Outbreaks are rapidly addressed and so it's not something we see normally. But wild hoofed mammals remain a reservoir of infection.

Yes.The jet engine . microwave..
It's common knowledge that big Pharma won big with covid. It's not a conspiracy. The drug industry is a buisness. They want to maximize profit. They were, however, grateful that we have the technology to produce effective vaccines.

That's what conspiracy buffs say about everything that they don't have any evidence to support. It's common knowledge that big Pharma won big with covid.
I thought communism crashed and burned in Eastern Europe years ago.The drug industry is a buisness. They want to maximize profit.
Johnny come lately, cheap imitators of the real innovators whose long ago manipulations of God's reproduction design to create a new breed of human is still the working model for today's ghoulish developments in the field.
