Did you ever ask yourself why does Christianity place so much emphasis on "believing"?

Because true belief in Christ's work on the cross (and all that it entails)

results in a repentant heart, which is the first step to salvation.

The first example does not occur naturally the second one does. Do you only want to use what is considered beautiful examples of life to reference God? What loving God would create all kinds of killer bacteria, killer insects, parasites, poisonouse animals and reptiles all of which prey on his beloved creation of man. First you have to prove their is a God then you have to prove he is the God of the bible. You have your work cut out for you.

Now I am not an athiest, but I don't see the reasoning that something complex needs to have been engineered. I think that God's will allows things to occur, I don't think God sits behind a drafting board designing things like hemaglobin molelcules and DNA - it is just His will that these things can occur naturally in the universe.

That's pretty much at the heart of the difference in opinions between ID

types and theististic ToE types.

Me and jwu having been debating for a while now (I'm taking a break for

bit...tired and busy), and both are every bit as convinced of our original

postion as when we started.

Peace 4all, if your child thought it was okay to run into the street would you respect his opinions about it and let him Go? :o Or would you warn him about the dangers of doing so? Which one do you think is real love?

In the same manner we Christians will warn others about the dangers of thinking they know better than someone who walked on water, healed the sick, and raised the death. Not only will they die, but their eternal fate is at stake also. I for one elect to care about their eternal fate.

Healing the sick? Doctors of all faiths and no faiths do much more everyday. Rising from the dead? No big deal. There were several instances of people rising from the dead who were at room temperature far longer. As to eternal fate we don't know if it is true and no evidence that it might be.
