Here is some of the scripture that you quoted (but apparently disregard): "And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do those things which are not proper, having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, violent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the righteous requirement of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."
Also, Romans 1:21-23 says, "For
although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or birds or four-footed animals[
as] or reptiles."
Now, to read Scripture correctly you must accept what it says.
The people discussed in Romans 1 knew God, but did not glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. Instead,
they became idolaters.
That is what Paul is writing about in Romans!!
I know it's trendy to be hateful of LGBTQs, but that is just what is "in fashion". Why not be as hateful of all the other sins?
BTW, how many LGBTQs do you actually know? I know several lesbians and gay men and they are kind, loving, good people. More so than many "Christians" who, going against Jesus' command, won't love their neighbors.
Finally, John 3:16-17 says: " For this is the way
God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that
everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. "God loved the world, not just "straight" people.
Many heterosexual people commit the sins listed in Romans 1:29-31, "They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents, senseless, covenant-breakers, heartless, ruthless." Of course, in your blindness, you overlook these in favor of what's trendy today.
Love your neighbor as yourself!
